It’s time, once again, to get into the MOOD. Our driver for the label’s latest shady soiree is the boss herself: Nicole Moudaber.

Currently cruising on the trip of her life (literally – she’s just passed her race driver test), Nicole is wrapping up 2015 at unfathomable speeds right now. Fresh from her legendary ‘Breed’ collaborations with Skin and remixing Pan Pot, Scuba and recently Black Asteroid all within the last three months, Nicole unleashes her first solo triple-tracker in a long time…

‘Silent Sigh’ commences the adventure with an unhurried build as each bar sees a new space age texture wrapping around her stoic kicks. Gradually the elements disappear until all you can see, feel and hear is black. Stark designs twist through the ether from left to right then boom: an even darker, sub-laden kick pressure ignites from nowhere. Trust us, this will do more than make your dancefloor sigh…

We proceed with intimacy as Nicole persuades us to ‘Move A Little Closer’. The beats underpin her whispers and do well to magnetise, but it’s the gradual ice blast pads that really allure. Building and building with ageless progression, the big pay-off comes with one of the most delicious, almost cosmic, breakdowns Nicole has ever crafted.

MOOD now fully established, ‘Own’ has the honour of closing the show. Relentless kicks and a scratchy snare paint the backdrop for bold splashes of colour as eastern vocals ghost through the spectrum weaving mystically around Nicole’s signature insistent percussive dynamics, escalating into shamanic oblivion.

A MOODy way to say goodbye to 2015… And tease us for an even bigger 2016, Nicole is currently unstoppable.

After the release of their collaborative ‘BREED’ EP at the end of last summer, Nicole Moudaber and Skin have unveiled the highly anticipated remix package featuring a long list of respected producers. Carl Craig, Fur Coat, Jamie Jones, Jerome Sydenham, Paco Osuna, Pan-Pot and Scuba are just some of the names which have turned their hand to the project. Originally born out of Nicole and Skin ofSkunk Anansie’s desire to fuse their rock and techno backgrounds, this is a true for a collaboration project with a difference.

Marco Faraone is one of techno’s fastest rising stars as his remix is a prime example of why, putting his sinister twist on the track with pounding drums and sharp piano stabs. In July 2019, Subconscious Tales made his original EP debut for the label. The twin-track, "Magnectares" was a wonderful snapshot of the Lithuanian's talent. Now remixes from UK and Dutch artists continue the story.

James Monro needs no introduction to the dance music cognoscenti. Regularly performing behind the decks in front of thousands at festivals and clubs across the globe including a crowd of 30,000 at the annual OZORA event in Hungary, the UK born artist has also carved out a sizeable niche for himself from his adopted Brazilian home. A production career in tandem has seen over 150 production credits to his name since a debut for Flow Records in 2004, while Renaissance, Hope and Kompakt have all played a part in Monro's growing portfolio and continued success.

A regular on Proton Music since an October 2013 debut remixing Juan Deminicis, August 2017's full-length "Into the Ether" album put Monro firmly on the underground map with an array of progressive, techno and psy-trance tracks. Taking a typically innovative approach to his remix, the central pad from "Arkaya" forms a sumptuous bed from which a languid broken beat and cavernous bassline create an entirely new sonic landscape. New motifs fire across the mid-range as a range of reverb and delay-drenched spot effects pan across the stereo spectrum. Building to a rousing crescendo in the third movement, layer upon layer of new sounds and counterpoint melodies create a sparkling new interpretation of Subconscious Tales' work.

With over a decade's experience in the world of underground dance, Kasper Koman has honed his sound through a combination of hard work, dedication and passion. Able to cross-genres with ease, a blend of "happiness, darkness and emotions" characterises the Dutch artist's sonic palette. Supported by a host of A-list DJs including Khen, Guy Mantzur and Nick Warren, Koman's work for Plattenbank, EIN2 and Manual Music, has seen him at the forefront of the modern progressive house sound. Moreover, December 2018's "Hi/First Move/Loco Motif" EP for Lost & Found saw Koman make a stellar debut from the Guy J led imprint.

Now making his Proton Music debut, Kasper Koman has transformed "Magnectares" in a wonderfully dynamic and innovative new direction. Founded upon a tight off-beat percussive groove, a heavy kick and syncopated elements from the original flow through the track providing an anchor to the original. Evolving elegantly, a new plucked motif comes to the fore while a searing analogue lead rips through the foreground, immaculately blended to the sonic palette around it. The result is a stunning interpretation that perfectly illustrates why Koman is held in such high regard.

Two magnetic new remixes from James Monro and Kasper Koman continue to pull Subconscious Tales to the centre of high-class underground dance music.

Melbourne-based duo Arm In Arm, aka Eliza Jacobs and Luke Moore-Martin, emerged on the dance music scene last year after being discovered by Blaufield Music label bosses Booka Shade, reaching number five in the Top 100 release’s chart on Beatport and number three in the Melodic House and Techno chart with their ‘Nightfly’ EP, not to mention their single ‘Hunger For Your Vibe’ which came backed by a huge remix from Italian duo Moonwalk. After a couple of single track releases on our compilations, US based DJ/producer Movesayer is back with his own EP: Regenerate.
He proves us again, to be a master of emotional storytelling techno and takes us on a wonderful trip to a heaven full of melodies! This release contains two great originals and two strong remixes, produced by David Di Sabato and Frezel.
Right from the start, a smooth, percussive intro is drawing the attention. Voices are talking and laughing towards a laid-back horn melody.  The deep and growling bass gives body to the harmony of this gentle piece of music.  This track is very high in its subtlety, has a groovy rhythm and has a relaxing vibe for sure!

Among them are Gulivert, Wasca (to which he himself contributes 50%), Joe Levandowski, Shimon and Thommie G, as well as Bakean with his own remix.
