Magnitude Recordings revisits one of its most successful releases with a pack of fresh remixes.

'Morning Vibes' by Kamilo Sanclemente & Dabeat was released last October and gathered loads of praise and support from the global progressive house community. Now it's time for reinterpretations by Magnitude label boss Francesco Pico and Progressive World founder The Wash.

Francesco Pico is on a roll lately with classy releases- and remixes on labels such as Manual Music, MNL and Deep Records. His uplifting rework has a delightful positive vibe to it and marks the return on his own Magnitude Recordings label. And guess what? His new album is coming later this year, so be ready!

The Wash needs little introduction. Being active in the scene sinds 2005 and with releases under his belt on labels such as Mango Alley, YOMO Records, Balkan Connection, Schoenbrunner Perlen and dozens of other quality imprints his reputation is pretty much self explanatory. He provides a strong heady deep builter here, a great counterpart compared to Francesco's more peak time take.

All in all a strong remix single for Kamilo & Dabeat's classic 'Morning Vibes'!

The series provides an exciting opportunity for Renaissance to shine a light on some of the best production talent in the world today, be it from established artists to up and coming or newcomers to the scene; "our rule is simple - if we feel it’s worthy, it’s in.” - Renaissance

Featuring on Vol.2 in A-Z ordering; A Friend Of Marcus of Australia is first up with Cepish. Next, Greek artists Alexandros Djkevingr & Greg Ignatovich combine for their track Capricorns & Leos, followed by a collaboration from French artist Chris Gavin & Gabriel I of Mexico in the form of Calypso. Finally, London-based artist TALAL rounds off the VA with Moda.

Renaissance label head Marcus James goes on to explain the idea behind the series, saying that "Merin, which is Yoruba for 4, is a series that will always feature a quartet of producers, spread across a number of different genres. It’s our way of extending release opportunities to artists - there simply aren't enough weeks in the year otherwise!”

For the first time in label history, Keinemusik is putting out an EP with just remixes. The moniker for this: Doppelgänger. The reason for this: Well, we like remixes and were curious to find out how other artists, artists that we appreciate a lot, would approach our material. Why now, you might ask. Why wait for the catalogue number KM038? See, we just wanted to offer those guys a decent pool of tracks to choose from.

Simple Symmetry are going for Adam Ports I Never Wear Black on Side A, transforming the original into a dramatic ride through gong echoing frenzy and riff-heavy e-guitar emphasis. The originals guitar lead on the other hand gets some synthetic treatment, just to be backed up by spaced out synth melodies and an organic bassline.

The second chapter sees &MEs and Finks gruelling comedown score One On One turn into a meditation over groove, courtesy of Bedouin. The guys are going for a sparse, sophisticated arrangement, opening space for Finks shattered croon, yet raising the temperature after the break into a threatening, string-laden climax.

The closing assignment is handled by Redshape. Hes repositioning Rampas Newborn Soul through his very own dark recourse on Electro-Techno. The producer enigma even more so adds some EBM flavour to his signature sound, incorporating a catchy synth bass and heavy, stomping beat. Floor quaking material indeed.

International Deejay Gigolo Records are releasing a remix compilation of DJ Hell produced experimental track „Wir Reiten Durch Die Nacht“, taken from his 5th studio album „Zukunftsmusik“.
 
This release features remixes of internationally renowned artists such as Adriatique, Deetron, Marc Houle and Coyu. First up is Adriatique’s remix, a reflection of their own interpretation of electronic music with a strong and playful vibe. Followed by Deetron’s production, a cool and twisted reimagination of the original with his own trademark sound. Coyu’s remix is a dancefloor ready interpretation of the original cut, with a decidedly more pumped up and dark atmosphere. Last but not least, Marc Houle’s production stands out with it’s arty and eclectic soundscape, focusing on the core elements of the original.

Will be Released in Spring 2018.

After the last year that’s seen much of the world come to a halt, Brian Cid’s production output continued on strong throughout. He released EP’s on Lost & Found, Balance and Endangered, as well as remixes and singles on labels like Flying Circus, Oddity, Einmusik and Eklektisch. For his first full EP of 2021, Brian is back on Endangered with Bluiris; 4 original tracks that take the listener on a captivating trip when consumed in sequence.⠀

“ION” starts things off with a cinematic intro, and a sense of anticipation bubbles throughout the track signifying the start of a journey. Curiosity is piqued with the atmospheric pads and subtle synth stabs, and a trippy, sensory overload is reached at the apex. The vibe is switched up with a tribal rhythm and shuffling groove for “Ordeal”. Drum hits come from every angle, and arpeggiated synths jump back and forth which creates a wave of emotions as the listener is now pulled forward without resistance.⠀

Full energy and power are reached on the title track “Bluiris”. The most progressive and hypnotic track on the EP, this one is classic Brian Cid dark vibes & energy.
