“Tell Me When You Dream” by “Saven” is an indie folk song with an old fashioned 1950’s vibe that will make you think twice before you dismiss your dreams. Saven came up with the melody and lyrics almost seven years ago while walking through an airport terminal. The song is about going on a path of self-exploration and finding an inner truth on the edge of awareness. 

As the title of the song suggests, the song whisks you away to a dreamy sunset-like atmosphere with choir song, acoustic guitar and brushes played on a drum set. The simple electric guitar and light gentle tones from a xylophone feel like a night breeze and with the Elvis inspired vocals, it feels like you are being unwound and sung to sleep.

So have a listen to the song, give your dreams an extra thought, because there might be a truth that is shining through. Or is it just a dream?

It's difficult to think that it's been 3 months since I got behind the mixer. Life has been crazy and 2022 has continued the recent trend of elevating some of the more nefarious traits we have as a species. 

Mixing has always presented itself a personal outlet and a way for me to share my energy with our global psychedelic family. Without trying to sugarcoat the current situation, I believe that joy and expression are the core tools we have to guide us whilst traversing this universal highway. I hope this set brings you joy and the ability to connect with your inner child, that pure voice that encourages you to be the best version of yourself in the midst of all that tries to suppress it.
