Almighty Swiss duo Psycho Weasel come back to Rotten City after their successful “Red Room EP”. This time they offer two wicked tracks, 100% dance floor club oriented: "The Record “, a blend of inspirations shaped by Trance, driven by House, enhanced with Breakbeat, and infused with a nostalgic touch of Italo in the melody. The bassline and vocals compel you to put this record on and dance until exhaustion.

"The Other Track" : On an EP, the first side always comes with a second. A frantic and addictive rhythm, punctuated by a dreamlike melody, draws you into a blissful haze, allowing you to focus on yourself and only yourself.

Ekonopolis’ “Space Travel Operation”, coming soon via Epicure Records, reimagines a classic electronic sound with a forward-thinking edge. Blending retro-inspired grooves and modern production, the EP bridges the past and present – funky basslines and vintage rhythms interlace with futuristic synth textures and high-energy club dynamics. Collaborators Romain FX and Boudi & Boy Boogie further elevate the project with inventive remixes, adding depth and diversity to its sonic palette. The result is a vibrant, genre-fluid journey that nods to electronic music’s roots while carving out a bold, contemporary identity.

Premiered here, “Magnetar” orbits the realms of Progressive Trance. Hypnotic arpeggios and cascading synths weave a rich, immersive tapestry, anchored by a driving bassline that propels the track forward. Ekonopolis deftly navigates contrasts here, balancing meditative, introspective passages with bursts of euphoric intensity. The meticulous build-and-release structure creates a gravitational pull, drawing listeners into its celestial soundscape.

Giuliano Rodrigues is a renowned Brazilian DJ and music producer, widely recognized for his significant contributions to the Dub Techno genre. Born with an innate passion for music, Giuliano channeled his talent and creativity to craft a unique and captivating sound that deeply resonates with genre enthusiasts.

In 2012, Giuliano founded his first digital label, @flowingmovementmusic. Through this label, he not only promoted his own music but also elevated the profile of numerous other artists within the genre. His commitment to sonic excellence and dedication to cultivating a vibrant community of Dub Techno producers and fans have solidified his position as a central figure in the music scene.

In 2020, amid the pandemic, he launched DUBGIU, followed by Afterdub in 2023 and @dublucid in 2024—all focused on deep tech, deep house, minimal, and, of course, Dub Techno.

Giuliano has also released tracks on @lucidflow, a label founded by @nadjalind and @helmut-ebritsch, also known as @klartraum. The duo has produced remixes of Giuliano’s tracks, showcasing mutual respect and collaboration within the Dub Techno community. Two of Giuliano’s songs were even played at the iconic Burning Man festival. Giuliano also had the opportunity to remix Klartraum's track Manifestation, which has garnered over 60,000 plays on Spotify.

Additionally, Giuliano was featured on the popular YouTube channel GENTLEMAN, which boasts over 400,000 subscribers. In a dedicated video, @gentlemantracks selected ten tracks released by Giuliano under DUBGIU and created a one-hour set featuring his music. The channel also added two of his tracks to its top Spotify playlists.

Giuliano’s music portfolio extends to @superordinate-music, founded by @naetek. He has collaborated with Nae:Tek on several tracks, demonstrating his versatility and ability to synergize with other artists. Most recently, Giuliano released new music on @piranha-siberia, continuing to contribute fresh and innovative sounds to the Dub Techno scene.

Through these platforms and collaborations, Giuliano Rodrigues continues to solidify his reputation as a prolific and influential figure in Dub Techno, constantly pushing the genre's boundaries and connecting with a global audience.

Currently, with countless remixes, singles, compilations, and his entire body of work focused on Dub Techno, Giuliano has centralized all his releases under one label: DUBLUCID.
