A career spent DJing across the globe was the catalyst for Damian Lazarus’s latest project – Damian Lazarus & The Ancient Moons. Masterminded by Lazarus the album brings together a wide assortment of vocalists, collaborators and players from around the world. Taking inspiration from Lazarus's Lazpod series, Get Lost events and Day Zero festival in Mexico, this is music for deserts, jungles and sunrises.

Kicking off in LA, Lazarus was joined at the production controls by James Ford (Simian Mobile Disco, Arctic Monkeys, Florence) as the album moved to London, and then final recording sessions completed in Mexico.

The resulting album, ‘Message From the Other Side’, is a revelation. It runs the gamut from the wonderful Qawwali-flavoured techno of the single ‘Lovers Eyes (Mohe Pi Ki Najariya)’ to the African-tinged house of ‘Sacred Dance of the Demon’ to the dense dark ambient of ‘Inner Core’, and a whole lot else. It’s a truly original piece of music from a DJ-producer always driven by a desire to break new ground and, as importantly, have fun with such adventures

Ten Walls debut album “Queen”

The long awaited debut album from the highly talented dance music producer and artist Ten Walls called “Queen” available from the mid of March in a double CD package and in the end of the month also in digital format. The author created a continuous story full of different colours and a great mixture of different genres including flavours of Broken Beat, Dub or even New Jazz. 
“Queen” is an organic album. CD1 is more for listening, slow and light, including few songs as well. CD2 sounds more like dance music. One can also hear a lot of genres there, moving from one to the other. This album as one piece, just divided into two physical CD’s. 
The package of the album looks like a book - a piece of art. The book includes photos, reflecting each track. “I have pictured these musical pieces in my mind, as it’s natural for the artist to exceed the competence and search for additional forms that would supplement your work, making it single piece of art.” - adds Marijus (Ten Walls). The combination of arts is a very important thing to be noticed, each of them has it’s space, place and role in the album. Poetry and lyrics, photography / visual arts and music, altogether they make “Queen” more that just a music album. 
Ten Walls also made collaborations with very wide and different spectrum of musicians during the creation of his debut album “Queen”. Conductor Ricardas Sumila, legendary piano genius and artist Petras Geniusas, good old friend Vytautas Sondeckis added some Cello masterpiece, bass guitar Domas Aleksa, drummer Marijus Aleksa, singers Monika Liu, ALX and Jonatan Backelie, Marijus’ spiritual friend and teacher Andrew and nonet performers.
Ten Walls debut album “Queen” is available in double CD package from the mid of March and in digital format from the 27th of March.

Exclusive Ivory 'Oceans'

Ivory has quite a busy ending of his yet most successful year of his career. With his 'Super' EP on AZZUR the Italian again made it into the playlist of artists such as Dixon, Tale of Us, Ame or Adriatique. Now Daniel, Ivory's real name, is ready to drop his latest and last dance floor tune, 'Oceans', in 2018 on Sweet Musique's 'Night Tales' compilation. The crystal clear synth sounds in 'Oceans' set off a sparkling pleasure of musical tidal waves as Ivory's lush bass line keeps them rolling. The producer's craft to combine delicate detailed melodies with the aforementioned characteristic has not only become part of his trademark sound but rather a way or approach to dominate dance floors. The jarring somehow sharp elements in 'Oceans' generate a tension by serving as a tonal counterpart, however the none-bothering and wanted disharmony lets 'Oceans' flow in waves - which side of them the listener is riding depends on the listener's (sound)board.

Ivory's 'Oceans' will be released as part of Sweet Musique's 'Night Tales' compilation on December 19th, 2018
