Miss Monique returns to her label Siona Records with a fantastic new single "Electric" She collaborates with Israeli artist and Chemical Crew boss Asher Swissa, and exciting and talented vocalist SANDHAUS.

The track is an enthralling ride from the off with the stunning vocals from SANDHAUS drawing you in, and a hypnotising melodic trance leading you off to another universe as your legs and feet lead the way. The synths are melancholic and the vocal builds the suspense, till the epic crescendo drops and means this track is perfect ammunition for the peak of the night.

Another stunning addition to the Siona Records back catalogue.

Mita Gami is back in our house! opening 2023 with his brilliant 'Sun EP'.

He needs no introduction, In the past 2 years his sound has shaped a new generation of producers emerging from the Israel music scene.
The EP includes 2 original tracks and one unique remix made by him.

We're not in the habit of quoting press materials all the time, but in Kajetan Łukomski's case, it feels appropriate. The first sentence of his bio is "Avtomat is a person with way too many interests." If you know any artists from Poland's wide-ranging, always-growing electronic music scene, chances are he's one of them. He's a DJ, producer, organizer and activist, once a member of the queer feminist collective Oramics, and is endlessly passionate about supporting, spreading and playing music from the Central European and Eastern European regions.

With roots in metal, goth and electroclash, there's a certain spikiness to Łukomski's style, but also a polyglot knowledge and a hunger for new sounds. Lately he's been trying to mix club music with Polish folk traditions, which is the mission of Łukomski's RA Podcast, but it's also just the jumping off point. In these almost four hours of expert blending, genre-jumping and incredible pacing, Łukomski touches on almost every style of dance music you could think of, with aplomb and occasionally surprise (like that irresistible Bloc Party edit). If you can, it's worth digesting all in one sitting, so you can truly appreciate the ground he covers.

Snirco - L.O.V.E

Swiss producer Sandhog has recently released two deep and captivating tracks that showcase his rising star in the electronic music scene. Both tracks are signed to Berlin-based record label, Exploited, which has become well-known for its roster of talented artists who specialize in house and techno music.

The first track, "Accent," features a bouncing, twanging bass pulse that is soon accompanied by dramatic '80s synth-pop blasts and a plucked riff that hammers away while drenched in a spacious reverb. The full melody then unfurls, with the bassline and riff chromatically descending in unison. The spine-tingling riffs are further enhanced by subtle automation, while a distorted, bleeping lead cuts through the soundscape dramatically, and a spoken vocal adds more color. The breakdown features a dark texture with a buzzing, detuned vibe that creates a ship-tooting-its-way-into-harbor effect. The track is brilliantly produced, making it a perfect fit for big rooms.

The second track, "Nechama," rewards patient listeners with its wiggling bassline and gently swaying percussive rhythms cut through with filtered, distant synth swells that tease out the chord progression. A bluesy harmonica lick appears out of nowhere, providing an organic counterweight to the synthetic tension as the percussion builds. Then, a throat singer enters with a mystical vibe, creating a droning modulation that resembles a human didgeridoo. Despite being monotone, the sound evolves constantly, making it a fascinating contrast to the delightful, playful synth hook that rises from the depths and could easily be from a classic Depeche Mode or The Cure record.

Exploited records have been instrumental in shaping the sound of modern electronic music, with their roster of artists including Adana Twins, Claptone, and Doctor Dru. With Sandhog's recent release, the label's reputation for quality and innovation is sure to continue to soar.

Volume up - it’s showtime, and you can easily picture yourself in the middle of the dancefloor with hands high in the sky. Right, we are talking about „Memories“ featuring a powerful vocal performance by the London-based vocalist Charlotte Riby. A piece of inspiring House Music elegantly stitched together and characterised by the sound design the duo is known for. On the flip side, „Blue Flash“ is setting the course for the things to follow.

There was only one man about town, everybody knew that. As he walked in through the saloon he removed a lit cigarette from his mouth and blew a cloud of smoke into the warm air of the lounge. He had their attention alright, that was certain.

His name was Jonathan and he took no prisoners.

There was one empty stool perched by the bar, that would be his. For nobody dared sat where Jonathan sat.

He ordered a drink, the strongest stuff. The night was young but it would sure as hell feel old soon…

Ketiov is a master of edits, perhaps the undisputed king. A new self released EP cements such authority over the title as he commands the floor across a playful selection of tracks built around fun samples and groovy percussion.

The water was still down by riverside, revellers had gathered on the banks to talk shop and reflect on what had been, the sky a puffy assortment of fairy like clouds which hovered overhead. It was a muted blanc, a trusting colour which promised stillness and peace throughout the evening.

The midweek blues had long since passed as they watched the boats go slowly past, indulging in pleasant conversation as the echo of laughter rolled downstream.

These were the nights when things went right.
