The latest release on Sound Avenue finds the label revisiting Madloch's 'Sagacity' EP for a new set of remixes. Originally released in August of 2017 the two track offering found the Belgian artist in the midst of a creative shift. Widely regarded as his most compelling work to date, Sound Avenue now invites Petar Dundov and Anton Dhouran to reinvent the tracks for 2018.

"The lone interpretation of ‘Nordic Noir’ is provided by Petar Dundov who returns to the label for his second appearance. The Croatian artist would have to be considered one of the most inspiring, original and daring producers of the last two decades. Petar makes intelligent electronic music that breaks boundaries, moves feet and twists minds; and with the likes of Sven Vath, Laurent Garnier, Hernan Cattaeno and Guy J singing his praises it would be hard to disagree. Now fresh off the release of his latest Musicman EP ‘Dalmatina/Once We Were Here’ Petar delivers a smooth rendition of ‘Nordic Noir’. An explosive beat punctures the airwaves as a pneumatic drill rips through granite surface, creating lines for textured beats to carve a subtler path beneath the surface. Rhythmic patterns emerge in perfect geometry through mesmeric bass and synchronous melody.

A last night on earth finds Formel in heavenly flight. Shimmering patterns emerge from "Reverse Side", cascading in rivers of light between Moscow and Leiden. A sonic adventure plays out in new arpeggio sequence that imperceptibly builds a new variation that heightens the senses in coruscating lanes.

Exclusive Kevin Di Serna 'Ave Del Paraíso'

Argentinian artist Kevin Di Serna makes his debut on Berlin based label Exit Strategy with his EP 'The Path'. The three tracker is the corollary after having released several EPs and tracks over the past months on labels such as Endless, Shanti Radio Moscow and Innervisions. For the latter he contributed the track 'Amapola', causing quite a stir within the scene and being a Dixon favorite, but this applies for his upcoming EP 'The Path' on Exit Strategy too. Torture the Artist's exclusive from the EP 'Ave Del Paraìso' attracts the listener due to its delicacy of feeling; the charming chimes in combination with a pure synth tone evoke a pleasing and comfortable atmosphere due to the fact that Kevin alternating makes use of either one of the sound passages and consequently avoids a musical overload but creates a harmonical composition.

Kevin Di Serna's EP 'The Path' will be released on Exit Strategy on May 17th, 2019.

Tim Engelhardt returns to Poker Flat Recordings to build on his already impressive reputation. Engelhardt, one of Cologne’s youngest and brightest electronic music stars on the rise is responsible for numerous dancefloor bombs over the last years. 

Here, he drops two slinky, crafted pieces of melodic house destined for the crates of countless respected DJs and dance music aficionados. 

'First Contact' combines beautiful synth lines with a shuffling, infectious groove and a maturity way beyond his years. In addition to the Original Version, Engelhardt provides another highly sensitive interpretation with the magic ´Beatless Tool´.

'Light The Fire' incorporates magical melodic chimes reminiscent of Four Tet or Floating Points, with a thick sub bass and Detroit style pads that add up to a highly affecting track - a real triumph.
