Deep Ass Music

Our first release for 2014 comes from new member of the Artillery family, Affinity, aka Daniel Marchbank. The ‘Vulture EP’ is the debut release from the 18 year old New Zealander.

Addicted to FruityLoops from the tender age of 12, this two track EP shows off Affinity’s range of production. ‘Submersion’ is an electro house track featuring beautiful and uplifting melodies. This track will be at home anywhere, be it warming up or peak time. ‘Vulture’ is a chilled 90 bpm trip, with pseudo vocals holding down the melody while the bass elegantly filters in and out. 

Expect to hear plenty more from Affinity in the not too distant future.

Affinity - Submersion

Deer Dear is proud to present the debut EP from Edinburgh based DJ/producer Jonas Woolf. This long player see's the sampling of tracks better known as hip hop smashes, wrapped around housed up infectious Summer beats, layered with preacher vocals. 

"Remember" is a funk fueled house affair, lush organs, funky guitars and live sounding drum patterns all work perfectly together to make this a sure fire Spring smash!

David Macias aka Cratebug is the latest addition to the Classic Music Company family. Luke Solomon, Derrick Carter and Honey Dijon have been championing Cratebug edits for a few years now, whilst among the DJ edits world he has become a bit of an enigma, his most notable edit being one with Jamie 3:26 entitled ‘Hit It n Quit It’. Looking for a perfect opportunity to feature Cratebug on the label, Classic jumped at the chance when David sent Luke ‘Melondrop’. The track carries all the flavour of one of Cratebugs’ classic edits but with some added madness to boot. Re-edited by Luke Solomon himself, this is set to be added to the list of Classic pumpers for life.
