Kindisch is delighted to welcome back Tuba Twooz with their new release, the ‘Mastermind EP’. Following their well-received Night Tribe EP on Kindisch in 2024 and the ‘This Generation’ EP on sister label Get Physical Music, the duo now delivers a two-track record showcasing their refined melodic sensibility and deep house roots.

The opening track, ‘Wyury’, is a beautifully layered electronic journey filled with sweetness and subtle detail. Built on gentle, understated percussion, it unfolds with lush melodic patterns and synthetic vocal textures that add both intimacy and atmosphere. The result is a track that feels warm and expansive, yet delicately restrained.

The title track, ‘Mastermind’, takes a more classic deep house approach. Minimal percussion sets the pace as intricate synth layers slowly blossom into a dreamy, hypnotic composition. Its meditative energy and flowing rhythm make it an ideal piece for late-night drives or afterhours listening.

Tuba Twooz is a live electronic project cruising between West and East Europe, known for their nuanced house sound and dynamic performances across the continent. The journey begins in the valley, where instinct guides the first steps. There is no plan, only a feeling — to leave the car behind and follow the nearest path upwards. The trail leads through a forest drenched in moss, damp earth underfoot, and the quiet breath of pines shading the way. It is a beginning wrapped in stillness, as if the mountain itself is waiting.

As the ascent grows steeper, the landscape opens little by little. Between the trees, sudden windows of light reveal sweeping views of the surrounding hills, endless forests stretching across the horizon. Each pause carries a sense of wonder, the climb itself becoming part of the rhythm. The higher the path winds, the lighter the heart becomes, as though every step pulls the spirit closer to something timeless.

Near the summit, a hidden cave emerges. From the outside, it seems small and unassuming - but inside, it unfolds into a vast, otherworldly chamber. Stalactites and stalagmites form silent sculptures, while the last glow of the setting sun pours through the entrance, bathing the stone in a magical light. It feels like stepping into a secret only nature can hold, a moment of awe suspended in time.

This EP carries those impressions into sound — the quiet beginning in the valley, the momentum of ascent, and the luminous mystery discovered at the peak. A translation of fleeting beauty into rhythm and tone, held like an echo of the mountain itself.
