From the 69th parallel in the Arctic born on the land to Nomadic parents and settled in the hamlet community of Igloolik, these childhood friends formed a group in ‘77. In '85 they recorded the first Indigenous language rock album in North America. In 2010, a new recording was produced on location in the Arctic. Traditional “ayaya” parts and sung entirely in Inuktitut, the result is a heavy melodic rock/metal album played by veterans of the genre with a distinctly original character.

From 1987' till 1996' Zip Gun Rodeo had different members since the creation of the project , considering the original members from the band according the songs composed all together,  during all those years of musical experience being 'ZIP GUN RODEO'.
