I have only been making music for 4 months… I know I have soo much more to learn but I really am proud of  this new creative chapter in my life and what a way to go into my 33rd rotation with this album, which consists of 15 rituals, transmuted into songs, representing all my favourite things… 

I like to call this genre of music ‘psy-magick’, as It doesn’t fully fit into any genre… 
close your eyes, listen close, light a candle, put on your ceremonial robes and come perform these rituals with me…

Shaman on the Hill

LIMPIA is a sonic purification ritual — an intimate fusion of tribal rhythm, cosmic frequencies, and hypnotic techno energy, inspired by journeys through South America and encounters with the shamans of the Amazon jungle. Subotage turns the cleansing ritual into deep, trance-driven soundscapes, merging organic field recordings with raw, physical basslines and hallucinogenic synth layers that blur the line between body and spirit.

The second track, ¡FreeTheKick!, shifts from ritual to rebellion — capturing the atmosphere of European underground raves, where sound, sweat and strobe light erase all borders. A stripped-down, relentless energy that belongs to the night and nowhere else.

With LIMPIA EP, Subotage bridges two worlds — the mysticism of South America and the industrial pulse of European dancefloors. Released on MUAKK Records (Colombia), this record is both cleansing and confrontational — a deep, physical trip into the purifying power of rhythm.

Slavic timbres intertwine with cosmic electronics, creating the feeling that the forest breathes with dark light and the stars are closer than ever. This is a portal track that opens at the very moment night falls — where silence becomes power and the soul remembers its true nature.

Laszlo Papp is an inevitable character of Budapest music scene. He is the founder of INOTA Festival, Turbina Cultural Center and he is the heart of Electronic Beats Hungary. As a dj/producer he has been always interested to find new sounds among psychedelic genres, trance and techno.
