Supremus Records is a brand new House music label curated by DJ/producer/Frenchman Giom. Born with the desire to showcase versatility and with an emphasis on strong 4/4 grooves, tight bass lines and catchy melodies, Supremus Records will release quality music for the dance floor, from warm-up sets to peak-time hits with the occasional radio edit thrown in. And all of Giom’ s upcoming material too. 

The label kicks off with the release of “The Message EP”, a brand new 2-tracker from the label boss himself. The opening track, “The Message”, features a very familiar synth riff, disco drums, lovely claps and a rolling bass line, and culminates with a powerful spoken word delivered in its breakdown, a powerful message to share the love of music with every dancefloor.

For our penultimate release of 2015, we are very excited to introduce you to Anonimaly, a brand new production duo consisting of 2 French producers living in Paris and London.
While the boys wish to remain anonymous for now, they’re not beginners when it comes to putting out quality house tracks, and were actually pretty active as a duo a few years ago. They recently decided to get back to work and we at Supremus are delighted to finally release their debut EP.
The first time we heard La Blessure, we instantly knew we had something special on our hands. The combination of its haunting string sample, hypnotic keys and emotional vocals turns it into an instant timeless classic, equally at home as a memorable set opener or as an end-of-the-night encore. And because every great track needs a great remix, we went ahead and reached out to our good friend, Canadian Deep House legend Mr Fred Everything, who loved it so much he delivered not one, but two different takes on it. Mr Everything uses his awesome production skills to refine the title track for his remix, but also takes us to 5am territory with his lethal Devil-In-The-Dub. Last but not least, the boys round off the EP with the funky as hell, yet deep and well
produced So Long, which, we hope you’ll agree, totally fits our emerging Supremus sound.

We are delighted to welcome one of our all-time favourite producers to the Supremus family, Seattle-based Doza. While you may not be familiar with his name just yet, if you’re a fan of Deep House Music you’ve most likely already heard his work. Once part of the legendary duo Lawnchair Generals, Carlos Mendoza AKA Doza is now back in the scene with a darker, deeper sound and his latest work, released last year on labels such as Doc Martin’s Sublevel Records and Get Physical has already found some strong support from the likes of M.A.N.D.Y., Lee Burridge, Pezzner and many more.

Eddie does his thing and takes the track right to Tech-House territory to provide a darker take on the original which we know you'll enjoy playing out.

While these 2 veterans of Brussels’ nightlife scene launched their new project fairly recently, they have already caused a stir in the underground scene by releasing EPs for the likes of Electronical Reeds, Large Music and Nite Grooves.

Now for something a bit different. Takin' Off is a pop, summery Nu-Disco gem which we fell in love with the first time we heard it. Featuring catchy vocals and slick Indie-Dance-meets-house-music production, this is also the debut release from new French band Palmer. Did we say summer? To do the track justice we have enlisted the solid remixing talent of hit maker and man-of-the-moment Miguel Campbell (Hot Creations).

Having just released his new “Memoirs” album on Outcross Records, Mr Campbell gives the track the bounce and funk of his signature sound and turns it into an instant Nu-Disco summer smash. The 2nd remix is a dub by label boss Giom who takes the track to a darker territory that will work a treat for those 3am moments. Last but not least, our good friend and occasional Roisin Murphy guitar player @Yila (Sunday Best) offers us a totally different take that showcases his unique style and musicianship.

So happy to welcome one of our current favourite DJs and producers to the Supremus family, the uber talented Esette AKA Isis Graham (@isis-graham). Not someone you would really call a newcomer, she has been helping to shape the House and Techno scene in her native Calgary for the past 20 years. She has over 30+ releases to her discography, is the A&R of Substation Recordings and even counts the likes of Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex and Jamie Jones as supporters.

Miss Graham has gathered the vocal talents of Piper Davis (Stimming, Dave DK, Pampa Records) to create The Rise, a stunning piece of Deep-Tech Vocal House that is so catchy it will remain in your head for days on end. Effortlessly working in both club and home settings, we think we have a future classic on our hands. Obviously @Giom couldn’t resist remixing this track himself, and he does so by toughening up the sound with extra bass and crunchy claps to give the track even more of a dancefloor vibe. Last but not least, Canadian legend Matt Neighbour (@homebreakin-records) rounds off the package by providing his bump and funk into a solid remix that will please fans of Indie Dance and Nu-Disco.

Here is the first instalment of our brand new Supremixes collection. The concept is simple: getting our favourite artists to rework any track from the Supremus catalog in any way they want all for your dance floor satisfaction. And we’d like to kick off this new series with a serious All-star line-up consisting of some of our current favourite DJs and producers from all over the world.

House music’s Polish superstars Karol XVII & MB Valence (@karolxviimbvalence, Loco Records, Suara) kick off the series by adding their magical touch to @Giom’s Last Dance. While retaining the key elements of the original mix, they’ve given the track a heavier, classy re-touch. Next, Montreal’s current deep house darlings The Black 80s (@theblack80s) have had an incredible year so far with huge releases on Freerange and Sonar Kollektiv and we are delighted to have them adding their unique bouncy touch to Esette & Piper Davis’ The Rise. We’d like to welcome a very good friend of ours to the family, London-based Deep House maestro Pete Dafeet (@PeteDafeet). Pete and Giom go way back, having worked together on many releases on Pete’s own Lost My Dog (@Lost-My-Dog) imprint. Mr Dafeet is finally back on the scene with his first EP since last year’s critically acclaimed The Root, The Soul LP which went on to score a 4/5 review on DMC World Magazine as well being supported by some of the greatest players in the game such as Laurent Garnier, AtJazz, Steve Bug, Charles Webster and many more.

Introducing the Afterlife EP. The opening track, Polar Bear, perfectly showcases Pete’s own brand of techy future soul, layered with M1 hits and shuffle-y 909s all over. Next up, Jungle Fever, is a percussion-heavy banger that has been working wonders in @Giom’s sets lately, perfect for those intense mid-sets moments. Last but not least, Fear, nicely rounds off the EP with its moody atmosphere, catchy female vocal hits and bouncy drums. On the remix tip, we're very excited to bring you another Lost My Dog regular, the one and only Harry Wolfman (@harrywolfman). We’d like to end the year with a bang and present to you the first volume of SUPREMATISM, a 10-track collection and our final offering for 2016. Suprematism was originally the name of an art movement created by Kazimir Malevich in 1915, where he and other artists exhibited their work in a similar style, mainly geometric forms and shapes (the main influence for our early release artwork). So when we decided to prepare a compilation of both label regulars and up-and-coming talent, we thought the term fitted perfectly.

One of our current favourite producers @Tale_Cooper (Blue Dye) kick things off with the beautifully produced and uplifting “Booba”, and is quickly followed by the sombre piano tones of “A Day After” by our recent signing @Paul2Paul. Next in line is “Native Flow”, a dark and haunting collab between @AlexeyEmelyanov (Highway Records) and DJ Skif. Now’s the time to bring the sexy funk touch of Athens-based @OlgaKouklaki (Get Physical) with her track “Charmer”, and then head straight to the dance floor with the return of @Giom with his percussion-heavy banger “Some Love”. By now, you’re ready to go on a balearic, dubby trip courtesy of Polish wizard @Pysh (TOS Records) and his track “Da Rosla” (feat. @poludnice-elektronice), a real beauty that works wonder on the floor. Heading for the main room, we welcome back our friend @david-pher (Gruuv) and let things get dark with “Burning Man”, a serious peak time techy monster. Bringing us back to funky town is our current Beatport best-seller, the man @PeteDafeet with the groovy as hell “Piano Looper”. And to finish things off, we calm down with the soothing sounds of our 2 favourite Belgians @DeeligentSoul and their own expertly produced “Rejected Motion” and close things off with the beautiful “Barophobia”, a future end-of-the-night classic produced by the man @Lessovsky (Tenampa Recordings).

We are kicking off the new year with an amazing new talent joining the Supremus family, Munich-based @Tale_cooper. Sounds familiar? Tale actually wrote Booba, the opening track of our previous release, last month’s Suprematism compilation. So we are very excited to have him back on board and are delighted to present you his first solo instalment on the label.

Hawks sets the tone by being the perfect set opener: intriguing and moody, classy and sexy, building up to a climax. Tale takes you on a journey with ups and downs and manages to keep the dance floor busy too. Blue Moon provides a contrasting tone with its darker vibe. The tension really builds here and the infectious pitched down vocals will stay in your head for long after. Finally, @Giom provides the obligatory remix and takes Blue Moon to a totally different place with his own Words Dub, with percussion and synthesisers a-plenty. The result is a stripped down, groovy head-nodder that will no doubt be popular with all Keinemusik fans out there. This one will keep the dance-floor full and the dancers happy.

It’s official: the man @petedafeet is back and he means business! His previous EP for us (The Afterlife EP - SUPREMUS010) ended up reaching the Deep House Top 20 on Beatport and became our biggest-seller of 2016, so we are delighted to have him back. As usual with Pete, quality is key and here’s 3 tracks of timeless deep and groovy House Music like only he can make. And if that wasn’t enough, we have also got Nottingham legend Nail on remix duties: the man responsible for classic 90s House classics on DIY Discs and Classic or “Magic Love” and “Swollen” (as part of legendary duo @bent-official) has reworded the title track and we are super happy to welcome him on board.

Drum 4 U (KR Tripping) starts the EP off with that classic Pete Dafeet sound: great arrangement, melodies, swingy drum programming and spoken word samples! One that will no doubt find a good place on everyone’s USB stick.

Vanguard Melody has been a highlight of @Giom ’s DJ sets ever since it reached his inbox a few months back. Reminiscent of some of Pete’s best work on @lost-my-dog Records, this one is all about the dance floor: classic Detroit meets UK.

Here comes the jackin' Nail Remix. Mr Tolliday takes us onto a 7+ min journey straight to heart of 90s Nottingham. Reworking the drums and adding a super sexy new bass line, Nail eventually re-introduces the original synth riff. This is dubby jackin’ music at its finest.

Finally, Dub 4 U (Lost In Translation) closes the EP. Hablamos Espanol / No Hablamos Ingles is the recurring phrase here. But who cares when you can jack! One for the late night sets.

Mr Paul Losev AKA @Paul2Paul AKA our favourite Russian-in-New-York is back with his 3rd EP for us, and this one is by far his most accomplished work yet. An Old Story EP features 3 originals as well as a stunning remix by @Giom.

We are heading to Finland to introduce the slick sounds of Oulu resident Juha Moisala AKA @djsmok. This talented producer has already released quality tunes on labels such as Salted Music and @youthcontrol and we are very proud to welcome him to the label.

Now, this is one special collaboration... Canadian singer/ DJ/ producer Soph-eye Richard (@meettheeyes) joins forces with a man that needs no introduction: Mr Hollis P Monroe (@hollispmonroe). 

Usually 1/2 of @theblack80s but today on solo duty, Hollis provides the beats and Soph-eye Richard the song, and the result is Soul Unite: a uber catchy track with a killer groove and lethal breakdown.

Here we have another collaboration: this time, Italian producer @andrearais (savoir-faire-musique) teams up with our own @giom to give you their joint effort "Discotheque". 

Produced remotely in Pisa and London, this track is, as you may have worked out already, a pure party bomb waiting to be dropped on any dance-floor. We think it's a future go-to secret weapon, so try it out and let us know what you think.

As usual, our favourite  Russian in NYC showcases plenty of skills, emotion and complex programming, and makes "The Dallas Street" a definite stand out track on this record. See you all in 2018.

And now for something a bit different. When @yila sent us his demo a little while ago, we fell in love with it right away. We were aware that it was a slight departure from our usual sound but decided to finally take the plunge and release this amazing piece of indie electronica. Yila is the musical alias of Alastair McNeill, British artist currently living in Ljubljana, Slovenia and past synths/fx/guitar player for @miss-roisin-murphy of @moloko-official. Here he collaborates with none-other than Mina Spiler, lead singer in cult art-rock band @laibach-official (@muterecords). Having been the first western band the ever perform in North Korea, Laibach and Mina are nothing but legends in their own right so we are very humbled to have her on board for this release.

But we do not stop here. Better (Of) Me comes with an incredible panel of remixers including man-of-the-moment @dave-dk (@kompakt, @pamparecords) who, once again, showcases his incredible production skills and totally makes the track his own. Next, up-and-coming British duo Rose Tinted & Anna Be (@rt-ab) give the track a warehouse techno makeover and finally, Christian Kroupa (@allegedwitches) serves a tasty plate of mid-tempo electronica.
