This is Bootie’s annual compilation of our best mashups of the past year, all mega-mixed together so it fits on an old-school CD. It’s basically a 79-minute summary of an entire night at Bootie, from the build-up on the dance floor to the hands-up floor bangers to the drunken off-the-rails sing-alongs to the chilled-out come-down, to the slow jam at the end. Keeping in theme with my new monthly event, Stranger Disco, & my love for fantasy/sci-fi such as Flash Gordon, Barbarella, Close Encounters, Star Wars, Star Trek, Heavy Metal, Hitchhikers Guide, Dune, Forbidden Planet, etc..., I wanted to put together a set that follows a story, or at lest the semblance of one. Starting with something like a perilous voyage through a worm hole in space where the ship is thrown off course into the radar of a sinister presence. Confusion, panic & alarm ensue then a narrow escape leading into adventures on other worlds & meeting new & obscure beings along the way. More pursuit, then capture. Then rescue from a mysterious & charming hero. The bitter antagonist, unbeknownst to our traveler, is actually an old friend, once scorned & yet secretly in love with the  naive space man wandering blindly through the universe. He will try again....
OK, all cheese aside, I hope you all enjoy this!! xo
