Our latest podcast comes from Italy's Simone Bauer (@simonebauer), a relatively new face on the scene with a couple of well-developed releases already under his belt via @norite and @annulled_music. Inspired by the communal and contemplative aspects of techno, Simone instills the natural beauty of his home city, Terni, into every aspect of his productions and DJ sets. The mix he has given us is immediately impressive, deliberately mixed and weaving deftly through a series of gorgeous, understated tracks. This is truly a journey of the highest order, and we're excited to share it.

Melantónia x Fango Radio - Simone Bauer

Born in Terni, Simone Bauer is an electronic music composer living right at the heart of Italy. He uses electronic music as a tool for introspection and inner dialogue, reaching beyond the boundaries of the musical genres and flowing over the landscapes of Umbria. With the wind blowing and the wind inevitably dying, these are forming imperceptibly. Travelling the vast distance, minute ripples that seem to have a certain amount of randomness aren’t that minute and aren’t that random at all. Interconnected just as our lives, born out of natures perpetual force, yet in search of equilibrium – an ocean wave. Moving steadily. Ubiquitous.
