Reality, energy and the divine beauty of the streets are all channeled through the artistry of the soulful New Jersey-born rapper/songwriter, Slim Mucho. In his recordings and engaging performances, he uses his voice as an instrument to weave textured stories and melodies that paint pictures of early childhood struggles & current pitfalls of those in urban America. He takes a playful yet wise approach to his craft, and his heartfelt original songs and thoughtful interpretations of timeless favorites pay homage to the authentic storytellers and creators that most powerfully influenced him, including Biggie Smalls, Jay-z, Big Daddy Kane, and Jadakiss.
 
Mucho, fully immersed himself in music when, at twenty two-years old, his longtime friend Paul Finch began to encourage him to express his poetry and stories that he would immediately develop into songs. As he continued to fine-tune his artistic lane through freestyle poetry and solo performances, he found the creating music to actually be therapeutic.

Mucho reaches the highest level of fulfillment as a rapper, songwriter, and father, by watching the way his lyrical wordplay can move and shape the world around him and being a voice for those without a voice. . By combining real life experiences with simple but high-energy beats, he has found an vehicle for his talent.
