Composition Notes: 

“Go Anywhere” is a composition that originally was written in the early stages of a relationship. The spark of this new connection poured over into my music writing and helped initially birth the piece. Shortly after the initial writing of the piece though the woman told me she “didn’t see this going anywhere”. The ending opened up a vista of possibilities and freedom that carried over to the song as well. Unlike other pieces I’ve written, just when I thought I had finished writing it, a new aspect of it unfolded and revealed itself to me. Over the course of almost two years it’s continued to evolve and grow sounding very different than when it originally came to be. 

This is by no means a “final” version of the song. Even after I recorded the piece new aspects of it came to the surface. I can imagine “Go Anywhere” in a variety of instrument configurations and arrangements. I imagine it will continue to grow and evolve going wherever it chooses.
