Short Bio: 
Darren Johnson is a composer for Film, Television and Games.
A lifelong enthusiast for cinematic production.  Many of his compositions are hybrid forms of electronic, orchestral and Blues/Rock influence.

Long Bio: 
Darren was born in northern California in 1963.  He found his love of music at an early age living on a large ranch in Southern Oregon with his grandparents and other extended family members.  His grandmother taught him to play the piano and organ and he began creating his own compositions right away.  Music has significantly impacted his life from the very beginning and has lead to his passion for listening, studying, instructing, composing, and performing in various capacities.  At age 12 he regularly played the organ for his local church and performed several duets with his very musically talented grandmother.  Over the years Darren has played a myriad of instruments and continues to write music in a variety of genres, idioms and styles.  He also loves to design and record new and interesting sounds.  In the late 80"s Darren joined the original metal band Monolith in San Jose California and composed and performed throughout California and the west coast for many years.  He has composed everything from classical to heavy metal and more.  Darren is a huge fan of film and has produced, directed and shot several short films and videos.   Composing music for film, internet, TV, and video games has been his focus and love for the past several years leading to Inspirational, emotional, and epic cinematic compositions.
