I grew up as a rebellious youth, that believed I knew what was best for me. Little did I realize, that God had a better idea of who he was going to make me. I dropped out of school, became homeless, got locked up, wore a badge of shame, left behind all I knew thinking only to escape it all. When God calls you out of your estate, it often requires that you have walk in the wilderness. This is not as a punishment, but instead, as a means to make you better, removing all that distracts you from Him. We all have our storms, and as God will allow you to walk towards Him, he will also calm the tides of adversity that surround you.
