Reset Robot returns with another exquisite Truesoul offering, led by the timeless vocal composition ‘I Wish You’d Never’.

Digging deeper into his sonic repertoire during lockdown, the producer (aka Dave Roberston) crafts a thoughtful EP brimming with shimmering ambient tones and textures.

‘I Wish You’d Never’ reinforces his superior production skills, led by the mammoth title track. A strong lead vocal rubs shoulders with lustrous synth swirls, lilting pads and crisp percussion, before a brooding bassline comes into focus and hits with a deliciously menacing punch. ‘Time Loop’ is a piercing acid trance cut that begs to be rinsed. ‘Fluid’ originally begun as ambient electronica work, but evolved into a tougher composition through the course of the studio session: “out of curiosity I added some drums and a more aggressive bass synth and it came together,” Robertson says of the grandiose, pad-laden work. A classy dub of ‘I Wish You’d Never’ rounds out the package.

Spektre’s Respekt kickstarts 2022 with a driving two track techno release by UK artist Transcode.

Based in Manchester, Transcode has made numerous outings on other high-flying techno imprints such as Monika Kruse’s Terminal M and Reinier Zonneveld’s Filth On Acid.

Transcode made his Respekt debut in 2019, when he dropped an EP that also featured a collaboration with SAMA, but this time he returns with a solo release.

Boasting numerous tracks charting inside of Beatport’s top 10 techno section, this hard-hitting release blends dystopian atmosphere with pounding percussion and ominous sub-bass.

“Synesthesia” opens the release with its pounding kick drum and building suspense of the ambient synth line, which leads towards the trippy vocals and breakbeat percussion of the main breakdown, before an explosive drop that’s precision-engineered for maximum dance floor impact!

Remember when we already spoiled you with our outstanding remixers Stefan Biniak, Acumen and Justin James? Remember when we promised you that you would hear more from our delicious Octopus? Well, the JAW family KEEPS ITS PROMISES! Octopussy was such a success that we asked completely new faces to join Jannowitz records and play with the Octopussy. And we couldn't believe what happened next. Three of our favourite producers said yes. The headquarter went crazy! The result is nothing less than an entire Octopussy Remix EP touching everything between house and techno - just like the original EP. You are very welcome!Our first remixer need no introduction. Betoko has been a legend for years. There is a lot the London based producer could brag about: releases on Diynamic, Get Physical, Einmusika, Katermukke; shows at almost every club you have ever heard of. The waiting has finally come to an end. We're proud to present DJ Lion's long-awaited album 'Le Temps De L'Amour'.
The Balkan-born and now Berlin-based exceptional artist spoils us with twelve versatile and nifty tracks.
After a short intro DJ Lion sets the tone with the opening track 'Only High' that leads the way into the album, followed by 'Light Shooter' which has already caused quite some noise as the second teaser for the album after 'Reticulation'.
In the following DJ Lion raises the bar. Always Techno, but by using tons of different ingredients from acid ('Chunky Space') to a splash of steroids ('Jewroll') to a pinch of love ('Le Temps De L'Amour') he manages to keep the album diverse and always gripping.
With 'Epiphonema' and its kinky synth lines DJ Lion shows us a more freaky side of him before he perfectly finishes off the journey. DJ Lion demonstrates the capability of a techno album to tell a story from start to finish without ever losing its primary focus: to inspire and thrill the listeners
