Skankandbass is dedicated towards the official promotion of record labels and artists in the world of drum & bass music. Since inception in 2010, Skankandbass has unearthed some of the freshest talents in the scene and has opened many doors for unsigned artists. Now, a few years in to the game, Skankandbass decides to take on the role of a record label to put together a series of free download singles which aims to further help spread the work of the best unsigned, newcomer artists who deserve more recognition.

Jack "Walker" Fuller is a Drum and Bass producer hailing from Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. Currently studying Music Production in Surrey, Walker spends almost all of his free time producing liquid and soulful tracks, with the odd dark roller appearing every now and then. His love for melodies and beautiful chords can be heard throughout his tracks, along with using vocals to compliment his compositions. Walker's aim is to create music for the soul, music that connects to memories and feeling, wherever that person is or whatever they are doing.

Number two in our "Global Friends" series -  Belgium based M&T aka Meddik & Toxidelic tear it up!

When drum and bass music properly landed on Belgian grounds, it captured them like it did with many others. Enchanted by its vibes, Meddik used every last dime and started spinning vinyl records with a passion. At the same time a young Toxidelic was already perfecting his skills with only one goal in mind: making every dancefloor rumble.

After separately gaining more and more notoriety through some of the country’s most prestigious Dj-contests and biggest raves, both souls found each other and decided to team-up. Two great forces in bass-music where now united to create the mighty M&T.

The fresh Meddik & Toxidelic blend soon attracted the attention of many big promoters and landed them spots at major bass-gatherings such as Tomorrowland, Star Warz VS Daily Dubstep, Outlook Festival, Springtimefestival, Breakdown, Laundry Day, Dissonant, Afro Latino, etc … where they shared decks with big players like Netsky, Andy C, Camo & Krooked, Dj Hype, Grooverider, ShyFX, Delta Heavy, Wilkinson, Sigma, Icicle, TC and many more.

Besides igniting dancefloors themselves, they also grant opportunities for others to do so. As fellow organisers of the successful Belgian drum and bass concepts ICED and M&T invite, they welcomed numerous international artists to sell out shows.

It’s safe to say that these guys know their way around the decks and the organisational drawing board - there will be plenty more raves to follow!
