March the 31st meet Jody 6 to deliver his two-techno -tracks single release titled "I Want to Get Lost" to CODEX Recordings!

"I Want To Get Lost" is about getting lost in the music and euphoria at a dark rave. When you are on the floor, feeling the music and enjoying this moment in time.  I designed the track to have lots of energy and dropping with gritty bass stabs and a strong kick. I like the contrast of a dirty heavy groove with the softer female vocal atmospherics. 

In "The Darkness Drops" is all about the euphoria, tension, and excitement of a big build climaxing in the explosion of energy at the drop. I created The Darkness Drops to have a crescendo of ecstasy for the big build, culminating in the scary vocal: 'And then it drops… the darkness'. The listener is then plunged down the rabbit hole with the heavy groove and fat synth lead on the drop.

The Córdoba-based project Electronic Flamenco Esquejes continues to innovate in the fusion of flamenco and electronic music with the release of Furia RE-Esquejes Vol. 1, a remix EP that reimagines their acclaimed track Furia from the album Electronic Flamenco Esquejes Vol. 1. 

This release features three exceptional remixes by renowned artists Ale Acosta, Beatlove, and Lebollet, offering fresh and innovative perspectives on EFE’s groundbreaking sound.

The original version of 'Furia' was recorded with the renowned flamenco percussionist Javier Rabadán, a frequent collaborator of acclaimed artists such as Juanfe Pérez, Olga Pericet, Ana Morales, and Sergio de Lope. His masterful percussion brings an unmatched quality and authenticity to the track, perfectly complementing EFE’s innovative fusion of flamenco and electronic elements.

Beatlove: The Sevillian duo delivers a lush reinterpretation of Furia, blending their signature intimate melodies, immersive textures, and hypnotic beats to craft a deeply emotional journey.

Lebollet: Known for his dynamic and progressive approach, Lebollet reinvents the track into a vibrant dancefloor-ready version, fusing organic and electronic textures seamlessly.

Ale Acosta: With his vast experience in blending flamenco and electronic music, the renowned producer from Fuel Fandango and Mojo Project brings his signature depth and groove, turning Furia into a stunning piece of sonic art.

The EP has been professionally mastered by Kotec of KTC Mastering, ensuring impeccable sound quality that highlights the intricate details of both the original track and the remixes.

About EFE

Born in Córdoba, EFE (formed by singer Paloma and producers Juan Velasco and Juan López López) is at the forefront of the flamenco-electronic fusion movement. Their debut album, Electronic Flamenco Esquejes Vol. 1, combined ambient, downtempo, kraut, house, and techno with flamenco’s raw emotion and tradition. Closing out the month of March, Astral Records unveils the fourth installment of their 'Celestial' series. Born out of the ashes of Darkwood Dub, one of the Balkans’ most revered alternative rock bands during the ‘90s/’00s, Bella Technika is the latest project of Bojan Drobac, the group’s guitarist and main songwriter. Joined by former bandmate bass player Milorad Ristić as well as opera singer Katarina Jovanovic, amongst others, Bojan has found a new direction with Bella Technika.

Bella Technika join forces with Super Weird Substance for Substance Select Vol.2, which features three remixes and an original production from the band’s debut ‘Section’ LP, released last year.

Lee Perry AKA Peza, true to form, has provided a jacking, acid fuelled reimagining of ‘I Feel Light’. Alongside Sara Lucas’ primal vocal it evokes the halcyon days of house music.
