Saiful Idris presents the soundtrack of the summer: Showcasing the deeper and more soulful side of his production repertoire, “Summer Daze” is a smooth, jazzy, deep house number that would be as at home on a crowded dancefloor as it would be right on the shoreline. Driving the track is a beautifully emotive saxophone lead, courtesy of Cardiff’s Carlos Fraccalvieri, that glides elegantly over a melodic bassline, crunchy beats and subtle arpeggiated synths. Along with a dub mix and saxapella, this is a must-have release to accompany what would be an epic few months, as the world takes back summer.
