The subtle and minimalist guitar arrangements of Isaac, paired with the unique voice and sensitive interpretations of Lindsay, lend a smooth and balanced feel to the duo's music. The sound is perfectly suited for intimate and atmospheric concert locations. 

Appreciated and highly acclaimed by public and critics alike, the duo can now look back on over four hundred successful presentations, including performances on radio and television, as well as major theaters and bars in Florianopolis. Furthermore, Lindsay & Isaac are attracting ever more attention on the internet, enjoying an overwhelmingly positive response from music lovers from all over the world, on sites like Youtube and Facebook.

Unlike most other Brazilian musicians and bands, Lindsay & Isaac compose songs with lyrics exclusively in the English language. This is above all an artistic option, as the duo has always felt that English makes a better fit than Portuguese for their desired sound. The option for English lyrics is also due to Lindsay & Isaac’s strive towards a more universal appeal, reaching beyond the boundaries of the Portuguese speaking countries. The personal, emotional and introspective themes of the duo’s lyrics reflect dreams, aspirations and feelings common to people in all corners of the world.



suRRmenage is from the city of Salvador, former capital of Brazil and home of ‘Tropicalistas’ and World Music artists such as Caetano Veloso, Gilberto Gil, as well as the father of Bossa Nova, João Gilberto. But, mainly, home of co-founder of brazilian rock and roll, Raul Seixas.  

Formed in 2009 by a veteran bass player/singer, Brazilian Literature PhD and filmmaker Arthur Caria, the band released its first CD (the surrmenage sessions) in the same year and has recently returned to play live gigs and it is currently producing a new EP. The two other members of the band are Maynard Passos (guitar) and Mark Mesquita (drums) who help suRRmenage maintain its very loyal sect of followers throughout the local pubs and venues.
