Magdalena, known in and out of her native Colombia with the psychedelic and catchy song “Blue Dress” from her debut EP released via Surrounding Label at the end of 2016, is back to take us out of this world. The song “The Dark Rays of the Sun” can’t stop being endearing and disturbing at the same time. Minimalist and counterpoint guitars set the track’s melancholic mood and gives us a glance at her next long play production. As a registered trademark, Magdalena bounds her fantastic inner world into each rhythm and texture she creates in each one of her cathartic and creative nights.
