Featuring crazy but delicious beat edits this track has the feel of a '96 Junglist party tune, but with filthy low and fizzy bass keeping it up to date. ‘Disconnect’ sees BTK and Abstr4ct join forces for a heads-down Drum & Bass workout that’s equal parts dancefloor weapon and mind food. BTK’s trademark surgical beats lock in tight with Abstr4ct’s shadowy atmospherics, rolling out on a bed of heavy bass and crisp, precision breaks. It’s got that warehouse in the early hours feel, dark, tense, and built to rattle ribcages.

But this one’s more than just a rinse-out. There’s a message woven into the grit. ‘Disconnect’ taps into the idea of stepping away from the constant digital hum, shutting off the scroll, and cutting loose from the noise that chips away at your headspace. Every drop feels like a reset button, every breakdown like a breath of fresh air in a world that doesn’t stop shouting.

A long-time friend of Goldie and a staple of the Nordic dance music scene, Agzilla’s eclectic debut album is set for release this February.

Berlin based duo Survey are regular contributors to the Dispatch back catalogue, having featured on collaborative releases with Kolectiv, Tephra & Arkoze, M-zine & Scepticz and releasing two of their own EPs on Dispatch Limited, 2017s Sidewalks EP and 2018s Basic Motion EP.

DIS143 sees their solo Dispatch Recordings EP debut for the Life Cycle EP – fives tracks of their own signature sound, finely detailed, textural experimentation with rolling drums and bass. Be it the rugged dancefloor energy of “Far Gone”, or the nostalgic, explorative title track “Life Cycle”

“Sensory”, a collaboration with Phase, originally started life as a Phase remix of another Survey tune, they liked the original elements so much they stripped out the remix stems and worked it into the heavyweight beast you find on this EP.
