ENG - Vanhell takes refuge in the sonorities of obscure, melodic, and hypnotic techno, elements that he visits and revisits since 2005. However, the journey is what interests him, in which his purpose is to create the perfect symbiosis between styles and influences. Whether in small clubs or big events, his motivation and goal is just one: creating a magnetic atmosphere that can move crowds.

No entanto, o que lhe interessa é a viagem, em que o seu propósito é criar a perfeita simbiose entre estilos e influências. Seja em pequenos clubes ou grandes eventos, a sua motivação e objetivo é apenas um: a criação de um ambiente magnético capaz de mover multidões.

Uncle Kid makes dark, brooding, understated trip hop with spoken word. His debut EP, ‘Indistinct Chatter’ grabbed the attention of BBC 6 Music’s Tom Robinson who describes him as an “unsettling Scottish artist” and hailed his first single, ‘Supermarket Sweep’ as “a song for our times”. Meanwhile, BBC Scotland’s Vic Galloway has drawn comparisons to Massive Attack and Arab Strap. He’s also earned many plaudits among prominent online blogs, with Total Rock describing his second single ‘Lamplig’ as "Wonderful, haunted folk charm and trip hop, a truly unique sound".
