His Grace shares with us a story from the book called “The World of the Desert Fathers” which exemplifies the importance of fasting. 

As we approach the Holy Great Fast, let us remember the lesson from this story along with the saying of St. John Chrysostom: "Fasting of the body is food for the soul."
