Changing Tides EP is the fourth release of our Kommuna Tapes imprint. The A sides features two breaky, electro-infused tracks from Undersound affiliate Chris Geschwindner, while the flipside goes back to the roots: Adam Collins, half of legendary tech-house golden era duo Omni AM, brings us impeccable groove, and early 00s deep house icon Seafoam allows us to trip up through the early evening or morning hours.

Track by track, we build a Kommuna of artists who share our insatiable appetite for music discovery, guided by a certain vision of the dancefloor: deep stripped-down grooves, sometimes challenging, always with character.

3 is the magic number. The track was started a couple of years ago, and refound at the end of 2018 where it was reworked a little. Steppy vibes - inspired by South London roots!

Duck It label boss RSlane returns to the label for another breaks driven, minimal affair backed with remixes from Romanian talent seMoi and Algerian’s Harr. The release will be available on vinyl only, 8th October.

RSlane carries on the release smoothly with his consistent and striking take on breakbeat and minimalistic house cuts with his second instalment, "Cosmic Breaks". The kick drum beat starts of the track as short hi-hat notes appear while a deep synth holds down a modulated key, reminiscing of the grandeur sound of sci-fi film introduction scores. The snare and chopped vocal percussive sample add properly well to the energetic and broken ravey breakbeat feeling of the track. The use of distorted slurred vocal sampling appears effortlessly as it complements the arrangement in gorgeous flair, whilst the panned one-shots drive the listeners' motion and attention headfirst. The hi-hats add the spice as the 808 tom brings memories of the grittier and more vibrant days of the UK nightlife. A deep bassline sine synth with deep house synth chord melody create a beautiful fusion of broken beats and flowing motion.
