It’s been years since we catch up with something online but within the hiatus we found a strong sense of identity while catering music and connecting with collectives. Carving out a fresh new sound. 

Now, we are proudly honor to introduce our first Just For Selectors menu that confidently would be delivered to the nicest and where we invite electronic music purists, likeminded selectors. 

Paolo Mosca, an Italian digger, producer who co-owns a record store established in the Venetian province of San Donà di Piave (https://her.is/2Ox1H5c) had the gratitude to gather some goodies where you’ll find a delightful ambient intro with some broken beats, pads, snazzy grooves and sense of depth. 

By this mere year, Paolo released an astonishing 12’’ under Where We Met with a high demand by worldwide collectors and no doubts that on 2019 you’ll see his name once again in your shopping list. 

We wanted to ask few question to him and this is what we got:

1)	We met you back in 2015 using a different alter-ego and we understand your sound has evolved a lot since then. How and what prompt you to craft your sound this way? 

Yes, I remember our first meeting. 3 years ago I was stuck in a ball, my music was like my life in that moment. When I start to make music 10 years ago, I was very happy and full of melodies in my music, but for some reasons during the years I became more negative, I started to listen dark music, I my sound became everyday ever colder and without soul. We met during my most unfavorable musical period who I had.  

In 2017, when I met the Where We Met guys, they opened my mind and I started to feel positive and this gave me the input to start things out of the box and also the courage to do what I like, so I started to mix all the best elements that I learned during these years. 

As you can hear from WWM004 the mix of Electro, House and especially into A2 of Techno influences encloses all things I just explained.

2)	What’s next for you?. 

In the next future I don't have much things but for sure I have 2 releases, one in a Berlin label who I ever follow and love for many things, so for me is a big pleasure to have the possibility to become part of that family :) and for sure with Where We Met I will release something new next year.

Are you more of a hunter or a gatherer?

If you are talking about records I’m a hunter, when my finance allows me. If you are talking about life style, I think to be a hunter gatherer. I like to reach my goals and I hunt it till the end, but at the same time I try to collect everything that can help me to reach my goals and that can help me to evolve my soul becoming a better person.

•	A penguin walks through that door right now wearing a sombrero. What does he say and why is he here?

Really, i don't know! Probably i could have some question for him ahahahah

After several years of hiatus, we're rebooting Pluie/Noir's Bandcamp to release a unique album from a good friend and newcomer Shōen, marking a well-needed return of the Experimental Media sub-label. Shōen's album "Plant.æ" is a delicately soothing sonic adventure of morphing echoes, otherworldly rhythms, and hazy textures: a collection of tracks that perfectly fits PNEM's catalog and caters to our long-time devotion to ambient and experimental electronics.

A message from Shoen:

"Dear Listeners,

This album was created as a reflection of my dreams. It was produced in one week, spontaneously, using only my modular system and the organelle. The music you hear in dreams is often very hard to remember, but through a lot of meditation, I found a way to translate it. A few years ago I made the choice to live by the sea, where I can sustain myself and get inspiration from the birds, the fishes, and kinky little crabs. That's exactly what I tried to convey in this album: my own little world. They say inspiration comes from your quality of life, and I believe in this deeply! That’s why I’d like to thank all the people who directly or indirectly helped me in my artistic and human development.

First of all, to my own blood: I’m really grateful to have my mum, dad and my sister’s daily and unconditional support.

I'd like to thank Bruno and Pluie/Noir, for allowing me to express myself on this beautiful project, and for believing in me. A big thank you to my friends: to Louise, who gave me a lot of inspiration and without whom this album wouldn’t be the same. "I've been wanting to bring out material that I've been nourishing myself with, especially over the last year.

Los primeros tape cassettes, o simplemente tape o cassette surgieron en el año 1963 y fueron fabricados por la marca Philips. A lo largo de la historia, los DJs han usado este formato para la grabación de sus sesiones en directo y es una de las razones por las que hoy en día podemos disfrutar y conocer las mezclas que se realizaban allá por los años 90.

Tampoco pretendemos engañar a nadie, no habíamos pensado en esto cuando la idea nació. Pero es un nombre molón y fácil de darle identidad visual. 

HULA-HOP TAPES es una serie de podcasts que nace con la intención de compartir música, que la disfrutemos y que, por qué no, sea un espacio donde opinar e intercambiar opiniones gracias a la interacción que SoundCloud permite.

Para el TAPE 001 tenemos, a quien sino, a Badano y además es su primer podcast. Todo lo que dice es verdad, pero se ha puesto un poco intensito, las cosas como son:

“Llevo un tiempo queriendo sacar a la luz material del que me he nutrido sobre todo este último año. 

Hace cosa de un año me encontraba en una situación de frustración conmigo mismo, con mi música; por el hecho de no poder sentirme cómodo en distintas situaciones a lo largo de un fin de semana musical; en el cual, predominaba el baile de la música más pistera. Sin embargo, tras esos momentos de baile siempre quedaban esos momentos de decadencia donde uno ya no buscaba bailar sino gozar de esos sonidos puros que afectan al cerebro de una manera relajante. 

Me frustraba el hecho de buscar sensaciones que mi música no era capaz de aportar al momento, ni a mi mismo; Por lo que no tenía nada que ofrecer musicalmente en estos casos.

Tras esta situación, me propuse poder contar una historia musical durante un fin de semana entero en el que abarcaría múltiples estilos definidos para cada momento y poder gozar de de cada uno de ellos en su momento más adecuado. 

Aunque tengo mis preferencias musicales, siempre digo que existe un pequeño rincón dentro de cada estilo musical que tiene su momento y del cual soy capaz de disfrutar y así lo iré mostrando poco a poco, Comenzando por este podcast, desarrollado con una selección muy cuidada. 

Espero que os guste.”
