Great vocal and guitar on this Dylan cover, Susi!

This was a new song to me and the 5th chord was a bit of a challenge! But good fun to play!

Variation on a theme from „Runaway/Crash“ by Ben Salisbury and Geoff Barrow (soundtrack for A. Garland's 2022 movie „Men“). 

At one moment, I had become obsessed with the main motif from that track, playing it over and over again. One Monday evening (I guess it was in November), I added a background track, and finished it on Tuesday morning. Took me some time to record it.

Windows Are Rolled Down (Amos Lee Cover)

So I have been watching a lot of Asian television lately and seeing as I am currently embarking on learning  how to play an Asian string instrument (Guzheng) I got inspired and decided to turn back to the lovely melodic side of Dubstep. 

This is a  story set in the imperial Japan. At the centre is a noble and strong Samurai named Kirito, who meets a beautiful  and graceful Natsuna.  The two meet on the sakura- decorated streets  of Osaka and fall in love... You see, Natsuno has a terrible life.  For she is but a poor courtesan, bound by the demands of the wealthy lord in his summer palace. And he is neither  a well mannered nor a kind man. 

When he finds  out about our couple's secret love, He realizes that she could never be his, not entirely. As so the evil lord ends poor Natsuno's  life and flees to the emperor's palace fearing retribution. 

Learning of Natsuno's fate and plagued  by  sorrow, heartbreak and  longing for his beloved... Kirito embarks on a  journey to seek revenge...  This is  his  inner turmoil in song...

A very informal cover of this Dylan song with my friend, Jack Beck, who plays guitar much better than me and we are just enjoying some nights to sing and play together and thought we'd try this, as we are both Dylan lovers. He is from Scotland and I am Appalachian and we have noticed how much we share in music and ancestry. we are truly one and music is the connecting force we all share. the lyrics we discussed, Jack said he felt 'crawling down the avenue' was more suited for a woman, which I immediately protested ..after all,  it was written by a man, even Bob changed that verse to 'Flying down the avenue ' but tonight Jack and I made a compromise and sang it 'Running down the avenue' Not this version here, as we didn't record tonight, ANYWAY! so glad to be back and sharing here, as SC froze all my songs and wouldn't allow me to upload anymore as I somehow signed up for a different membership , Had to wait for over a year for that to expire and I think I paid for the correct plan now! Yay! I have missed y'all and look forward to sharing more songs and listening to your beautiful music ! Thank you to those who remember me and still visit my page, I can Thank Tony Lyrics  for that! Hi, another tree hug song. I will not give up!
Those who rule our world must understand that we cannot survive without trees and plants. They are the only ones that can give us oxygen and assimilate carbon dioxide. You know that I have been working with oxygen and carbon dioxide my whole life! Forest fires are among the worst for the climate.
Plant trees in all sorts of places and fill our cities with plants! And - plant 2 new trees for every tree You cut! 

Clean Air

Can You feel the clean air when You are walking
between the trees in the woods
they produce what we need for our living
and they collect all the stuff - that we breath out.

Nearly all of the people who are in power
don’t seem to realize what the trees do
they even let people - cut down the rainforests
who can save us all - from suffocation

Everybody have learned when they attended school
all - about photosynthesis
that this is the only way to make oxygen
and to get rid of all the stuff that we breath out

The trees and the plants are the planets lungs
and it’s our duty to protect them
and we must also fill the towns with both trees and plants
so the coming generations can survive

I have been a visual artist all my life, but have always Loved music and wanted to play music and have loved to sing since I was kid, but was always too darn shy to do anything in front of people! 
Then I Discovered Soundcloud and thought this would be the perfect place to share with other like minded souls who would not make fun of me! You give me courage!
