Deegree #008 : Kaiza & Taos - Just/ Stuck
Taos is a Belgian producer who started his journey into drum and bass and jungle back in 2005 when raves were seemingly an everyday experience. After exploring jungle, breakcore, dubstep and hardcore, alongside neurofunk and darkstep for years, his releases are today focused on the deeper side of drum and bass with a taste of emotional and aggressive elements within.
Kaiza started mixing Drum & Bass / Jungle some years ago (1996). Whilst interacting with  scene and music, his knowledge also grew and he started to re-define his basic principles of DJ-sets aswell as he developed an unique approach of consistency, constancy and upward build-up of sets.
Besides deejaying Drum & Bass, he started making his own music (2005) and has put out quite a number of vinyl singles and digital releases. Beside this he’s running his own imprint "T3K Recordings" and organized club-events in the Mannheim / Heidelberg area in Germany

Their joint EP contains two dreamy tunes. "Just" and "Stuck" , fitting to the current situation. Stuck" is a rolling piece with some techy finesse and straight drums, but again it has a very dreamy overall atmosphere due to the supporting spheres.

The spiritual leader, manager and co-owner of Divination - conjurors of the soundtrack of the occult - returns to the ether with The Technomancy EP, exploring the marriage of magick and technology and their potential to elevate love and life as well as subjugate, coerce and control others.

Concept releases don’t arise often as they are a daunting and haunting task, yet one that LA based Wil Dumaop - better known as Theatrix - has reveled in. The Technomancy EP tells a true story both in lyrics and sound regarding the interwoven nature of love and the material world. The magical healing and connecting power of love conjoined with an impeccable musical ride through the many complexities of symbiosis.

The title track is arguably Theatrix’ finest work to date, its intricate synth patterns interwoven with a daunting vibe and precision drums, complemented by the impeccable You And I featuring the vocal talent of Gracie Van Brunt.

A devilish incantation of harrowing vocals and slow burning cyberpunk electro leads the way on Cybergoth and ventures into more straightforward dancefloor on the subtle but punchy Dataslave. Both feature more spellbinding vocal work by MC Dino and JTEC.

Closing this 5 track ritual is Daemonology, a moogy 80’s style halftimer executed with surgical precision and perfectly closing off the auditory soup of The Technomancy EP, Theatrix’ finest work to date.
