Oh lord, how beautiful people are 
when they are aware of my true self
And I hide my tears in your absence

Of the horizon
And I fall into the shadow
The enveloping warmth of the evening
walks with me to the doorstep
I know that the day will save me
and I look at
the shadow of the shadow
I leave behind me
the last lights go out
and all is calm 
everything rests around me
and I stay up constantly
and still think of you

أنا معي بالقلب ومعي ضغط
مشاكل كبد أوجاع وصرت
كل ما تذكّرت ضغطي تسرسبت
كل ما دسدست كبدي توسوست
أنا عندي هوس أنا عندي قلق
اذا ضغطي لعب اذا ضغطي قشط
كل ما استفسرت ع المرض مرضت
كل ما تذكرت ضغطي توسوست
أنا عندي زهق أنا عندي ملل
أنا حايص لايص أنا عندي قلق
كلما نبشت على مرضي مرضت
كلما استفقدت لحكيمي وجعت
أنا شاعر في وحدي
أنا شاعر  في عزلة
أنا شاعر في غربي
أنا شاعر في وحدي
أنا شانصي نحس أنا طبعي نكد
كيف ما قلبتها قلبت نكد
كلما هلوست صار عندي عبقة ودوخة ولعية ودقت قلب
أنا معي بالقلب شكَّات وصرت
كل ما تنفست على ضهري نقزت
اذا ضهري لمع اذا ضهري لوق
اذا ضهري كمش دغري تشنجت
