The impressive label roster includes artists like Filmmaker, Neud Photo, Chris Mitchell, Red Deviil and many others. His sound is strongly influenced by electro, industrial, new beat and post-punk, adding his own take on this combination of genres. As a producer, he has released on labels like Home Mort, Body Musick, Soil Records, Drøne, Clandestine Records, Dystatik, as well as his own. 6 track full album LP by Fashion Flesh aka John Talaga from Michigan. He is known for his “off the grid” approach to music and has solo releases on great labels such as Unknown Precept, Jacktone and Fit/Est. 83’ Records.

Most all of the instruments used to perform and produce are self-built electronics, oscillators, generators, sound toys, and modulators. Those that are not built from one's own design are heavily modified beyond audible recognition or return. No sampling/stolen sound is ever used or sucked from outside pre-existing sources. 

No laptops, instead tape manipulation and hard copy cut-ups...analog devices that are built for specific purpose and dis-purpose.

"Rubber Mountain" is Fashion Flesh's first full LP and the first solo album we've released on Black Lodge. 6 tracks of mutant mayhem, spanning from odd italo-disco flavors, to no-wave, post-punk, jakbeat, and experimental sounds from the beyond. 

Equally for the dance floor and home listening, this record has it all. Also a visual artist, this release is housed in a full color double-sided jacket with art created by John Talaga himself.

@ldyosc is a musician and computer/electronics engineer, who was born in Mexico and grew up on the border in Laredo, Texas. Her vinyl discography began in 2018 with an EP on The Bunker New York. In 2019, an LP on Swedish label Kontra-Musik. The following EP in 2021 was on SF label Squirrels on Film. In 2022, her track “Suave Duro” was released on a VA on Prague’s LTE Records. Over the years she has also released music digitally and on tape. LDY OSC uses synthesis, rhythm & voice to conjure layered compositions that draw from techno, electro, & underground synth-wave.

As an artist he has more than 25 releases on his track record on labels like Bunker, Strange Life, Pinkman, New York Haunted, Minimal Rome and many others. Always eclectic, ranging from electro, minimal wave, techno, dark ambient and drones. Melancholic at times.
His weekly show SEER on the epochal Intergalactic FM has brought kaleidoscopic music into the scene. Also he has residencies at Operator and Mutant.
Being full of contradictions (sophisticated yet raw, apocalyptic yet celestial), his sets guarantee originality, stormy and dessonant melodic mania. Music for the Universe!

On 26 February, hundreds of Israeli settlers went on a violent late-night rampage in Huwara and other villages in the northern West Bank, leaving one local resident dead and 100 others injured and the town ablaze.

This compilation of music was put together in order to raise funds that can hopefully give some aid to the residents of Huwara, all of the proceeds Confused Machines make from digital sales will go directly to Physicians For Human Rights – Israel (PHRI) www.phr.org.il An NGO that works in the occupied Palestinian territory, promoting Palestinians' right to health and providing direct medical and humanitarian assistance.

The compilation hosts a roster of both local and international artists spanning a wide spectrum of leftfield electronic music. Acid, Drone, Noise, Downtempo, Techno, SoundCollage and more.

All of these tracks are new and have not been heard before, many of them have been created with Huwara and Palestine in mind.

Though we know our reach is limited, we see this as a part of a bigger political effort to help raise awareness in our artistic circles and set motion to positive forces in dark times.

Trentemøller's debutalbum on Poker Flat, „The Last Resort“is a beautifully crafted, astonishing masterpiece, that will leave you breathless.
The 13 instrumental tracks together form a wordless musical story, almost like the soundtrack of a movie. It manages to capture a whole range of emotions in subtle melodic miniatures, dreamy ambiences, dusty beats, deep dub-tracks and driving groove-excursions. An ever-changing kaleidoscope of colours and moods, „The Last Resort“ without a doubt contains Trentemøller’s best work to date.

Although it’s definitely an electronic album, it also incorporates live-drums, some guitars and other acoustic instruments like celesta, glockenspiel, melodica and even DJ scratching to create a more organic feel. „Something I couldn’t manage with just electronica“, according to the producer.

Most tracks were recorded over the course of last year, often in the time inbetween sessions for his 12-inches and remixes. „Making these tracks was like having time-off.“, says Trentemøller, „Moments to totally space out and let the music flow.“

It may come as a surprise that on „The Last Resort“ Trentemøller moves away from the dancefloor and instead produces an introspective album that’s especially great for homelistening (or listening in the car, or on your i-Pod).

But hey, from his first release on Audiomatique („Physical Fraction“ from January 2005) we knew the young producer from Copenhagen was able to fuse great melodies and chord progressions with subtle, yet driving beats.
His excellent remixes for Yoshimoto („Du what U do on“, OM, 2004), Röyksopp („What else is there“, 2005) and Pet Shop Boys („Sodom“, Parlophone, 2006) show yet another side of this multitalent, while his first releases on Audiomatique („Physical Fraction“) and Poker Flat (‘Polar Shift’) suddenly propelled him to dancefloor-fame.

But, as Trentemøller says now, he doesn’t see himself as someone who just produces dance-tech. „Because I have always made all kinds of music. In the studio, I never think about which genre it is or what target group it is for, I just make the music I feel like.“

What came out of the recording sessions for „The Last Resort“ was a very personal album: „It reflects my life, my thoughts, my needs, my insecureness, my longings.“ And it was a challenge, he adds, „to express these feelings and moods without words, only with music.“

That’s the reason why he decided not to put the two vocal tracks he recorded during the „Last Resort“-sessions on the final album. „Always Something Better“ (featuring Richard Davis and the first single of the album) and „Moan“ (with Copenhagen-singer Ane Trolle) are featured on the second disc (only to be released as limited edition bonus-cd).

Trentemøller: „When I listened to the final sequence of tracks, it felt as if I was listening to the soundtrack of a movie, that unfolded before my eyes. For me it was important that the music would tell the story. Vocal tracks would maybe mix-up the whole feeling of the soundpicture.“
