Welcome to the world of Kawakb.
Hailing from planet earth, Kawakb embodies the literal meaning “planets” of the Arabic word [ ka-wa-keb - كواكب  ] to invite you to visit different kinds of spheres through his music. Kawakb explores various styles of music that is not bound only to one genre, but more to that, Kawakb has this particular ability to take everything within and surrounding him—be it sorrow and hope—and turns them into a cinematic sound scapes that evokes diverse moods, feelings and strong images in your head as you listen to it.

Starting with lo-fi/chill arrangement, the first piece entitled "instant Knafeh" was introduced with its layered sounds of astral melodic arrangement built around jazztronic-infused chill beats and instrumentations, accompanied by a collision of humming and murmured vocals that slowly, hauntingly seeps through each of your senses. While the second release, "Ishtar 4 a.m." is a more intense mixture of lo-fi beats that are buttressed by detailed elements such as taken-down drum machines and delicate woodwind instruments, enhanced in a seamless manner by a saxophone that plays around beautifully-crafted traditional Arabic melodies. Both musical pieces have such disparate atmospheres of its own that go beyond a mere loop of cuts and samples, yet it brings you the same objective to walk you on an ephemeral sonic trip—giving a space to recall every memory or to find a new place within yourself throughout the journey.

"Romancing the Abyss" will be Kawakb's upcoming single that is set to release this August, along with an animated visual loops that he creates by himself following his other previous video series.

Zeid Hamdan is a Lebanese music composer.
He was born in Beirut in 1976
For the last 2 decades, he s been producing  some of the most interesting bands of the Lebanese and regional indie music scene such as Soapkills , The New Government , Hiba Mansouri , Kanjha Kora , Maryam Saleh , Maii Waleed and his own songs under the band name "Zeid and the wings"
On top of producing his own records , Zeid Hamdan  has also been scoring for Films .
In July 2012 he was distinguished by CNN as being one one the 8 leading light of Lebanese Culture.

Marie Abou Khaled, known professionally as Melmo, is a singer, songwriter and producer from Lebanon. Her music is a blend of art pop and electronica, subtly infused with tarab sonorities. Born in Beirut to a family of journalists, she spent her childhood singing, and her teen years directing an a cappella choir she founded with a friend. With a master's degree in popular music, she is now taking her first steps as a solo act after having long been a part of Zeid and the Wings, among others. Her first single 'Kermelak', co-produced with Zeid Hamdan and featuring producers Marc Codsi and Jérémie Regnier received critical acclaim. She is currently working on a collaboration with Syrian bassist and producer Khaled Omran.
