Suzi is excited to announce its first EP “Too” from NYC based artist Downstairs J who recently released his debut record on Incienso. 

Downstairs J has a unique way of using detailed minimalistic sounds that feel organic and sharp at the same time. 
His trademark “friendly chilled-out vibe” can be found in the opening and closing tracks of the record; “Soothsayer”’s slight digital-romance vibe gently starts the record ; “Mana4000” and “Orion” tracks reveal a newer straight forward club side of the producer; the A2 track is a tasty tech-house groover with an incredible amount of sharp bleepy details and B1 “Orion” is a playful crossover between house tech and trance elements. While “Symbiosis” ends the record with a warm and constantly growing flame that feels like an everlasting floating momentum. 

An overall unique, intimate and adventurous record that rounds up perfectly the very first EP of the label.

The visual artwork has been designed by Klara Troost.

Paryìa label head Marie Montexier comes up with the third instalment on her imprint.

After kicking off the label with records by a.b.u.3.0.3. and Small Crab, Marie is having the Vancouver based acidic specialist Overland, who delivers three cutting-edge dance floor tracks that showcase her rich and versatile fusion of classic acid techno patterns and distinctive bass music rhythms.

Rounding off the record, Marie Montexier adds a remix from the Chicago based up-and-comers Purelink. In contrast to Overland’s dark, fast, and bassy sound, Purelink re-arranged a trippy downtempo version of ‘Paloma’, resolving in the delicate, yet deliberate, chillout ecstasy, they are best known for.

A pairing written in the stars, with twelve dynamically diverse and emotive soundscapes of downtempo bliss, spine-chilling drum and bass and elevated electronica - timeless anthems for sonic indulgence and reflection. Take a deep dive into the sensually charged inner workings of the already prolific producer’s mind. 

An effervescent atmosphere envelopes it’s way through the records entirety, whether it be gloriously lush pads, melancholic words and whispers from her own lips or subterrantian bass. “To / Deep” comprises four tracks, two of which –Maintain the Bliss and Head On A Swivel– were previously released as a digital-only EP in 2021. 

Here, Purelink return to form with an updated sound, adding crystalline angularity and dialed precision to their warm, enveloping style.

the breath resounds throughout.
