Fusing his signature granular synthesis with syncopated rhythms and warm pads 'Gaija' has a sombre and hopeful tone reflecting on a busy year for the up and coming artist.

Tormenta is the result of a really stormy day, and so it is called storm in Spanish. Without knowing what was going on outside, this piece was created in one go. It is the pure emotion of the moment, expressed through the sounds that were given to me. Intuitive and immediate. A storm that swept through me . So I decided to leave it exactly as it was created. Like our times right now: storms everywhere. A contemporary document.
Recorded in my mountain sound studio in Andalusia, nestled between high mountains and a rugged landscape so rough and unreal and at the same time so beautiful and peaceful. Opposites attract... this is Tormenta the Storm
