‘Flowers of the Revolution’ is the new album from Nahash. 7 original tracks, including a collaboration with Osheyack, plus remixes from Elvin Brandhi featuring Kanja from Duma, Gabber Modus Operandi and DJ Plead

‘The album was written while researching and reading about the role that the US played in installing dictators in central and south America. The harsh and industrial sounds I used as a way to talk about what happens when the harsh reality of neo-liberalism takes over a country that could do very well without it.

I was reading and watching documentaries about Haiti and Cuba and trying to imagine what those countries would be without any western influence.

xr/spool: is a talented italian experimental producer whose purpose is to depict unknown territories in music. After releasing a wonderful tape earlier this year on Comic Sans Records, he pursues his collaboration with the label by delivering a one hour show in which ambient landscapes are crossed by powerfull experimental club music.

‘JAC’ is a collaborative release by Shanghai based Gooooose and Berlin based DJ Scotch Egg. After meeting for the first time at Nyege Nyege Festival, Uganda, in 2019, SVBKVLT brought Scotch Egg to Shanghai for a one week studio session with Gooooose in Jan 2020, just a couple of weeks before Covid-19 took hold. The result is JAC, a 6 track release, including a track with vocal samples from Swordman Kitala, recorded by Scotch Egg during his residency at the Nyege villa, plus remixes from Slikback and Seven Orbits & TSVI, with artwork by Andy Rolfes and design by Luke Griffiths. I had a fever and a cough and was waiting for the results of my covid test. This is the mood. I had planned something completely different but I let myself go with the flow of my disorder. Playing music when you're feverish and overtired really brings something different I think! Here, a kind of jerky brutality and some delirium moments.
