Marley Carroll’s auspicious start as a classically trained percussionist and award-winning turntablist propelled him into the limelight at an early age. Carroll’s signature style of exquisitely-detailed atmospheric dance music is adored by fans for its powerful emotional resonance and highly rated by peers who cite him as an abiding influence, evoking comparisons to genre luminaries like Four Tet and Caribou.

Onstage, he delivers a raw and improvisatory adaptation of his records to spellbound audiences, combining sampling, drum pads and live looping with expressive and unconventional turntable skills. He has shared stages with Floating Points, Bonobo and DJ Shadow and has notched acclaimed appearances at iconic music festivals like Coachella and LiB.

His 2022 EP, Voices, was inspired by the heartache of missing raving during lockdown and combined the driving intensity of the dance floor with the luminous nostalgia of late-night afters. Voices captured the attention of BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6, Radio Ibiza, KCRW and KEXP and became a dance floor staple and essential listening for fans of artists like DJ Seinfeld and Godford.

This year, he returns with the One More Year EP on Anjunadeep’s brand new Explorations imprint. Over the course of three lean, expertly-crafted UKG cuts brimming with evocative vocals and lush pads, Carroll explores a spectrum of emotions: pain and regret on the title cut, longing and love on “Falling,” and joy and gratitude on “Dearly Beloved.” One More Year has picked up support from deep house legends Above & Beyond with multiple appearances on their legendary Group Therapy DJ mix series.

Nasty filthy fidget electrohouse whomped out&nbsp;dankityass grimey dubstomp infused with a rowdy glitchy hiphoppish flava,&nbsp;pumped up&nbsp;with samples&nbsp;crunked outta a hilarious, perverted, enlightened elf on DMT, sprinkled with a bit of cheese made from the breastmilk of a hot raver&nbsp;chick .........
Yo mofos! GalaxC Girrrrl all up on this soundcloud! So yeah, I've been a wild party animal for forever, VJing for a good bit which inspired me to bust out with DJ sets so I could drop all the awesome samples I've been hoarding from my video footage collecting (also inspired from&nbsp;friends and random strangers beggin me to start DJing cause they know I love to rock it&nbsp;like obsidian&nbsp;;) haha, thanks guyz!)
I did my debut DJ set in July 09&nbsp;at our Southeast regional Burn, Transformus, at our theme camp, Wondrous Temple of Boom, where I rocked the crapola outta it for 3+ hours with peeps losing their minds, dancing, screaming, girls ripping their shirts off, etc :) It was freekin awesome. Apparently word spread that I blew the roof off so to appease everyone I have continued to DJ along with VJing. Buwahaha. Lol!
Now I'm doing crazy AV sets where I DJ and VJ at the same time and mix the two together and I'm having a freakin blast. Big UPs to everyone who's having a blast and lovin this shiz as much as I am! :D
I've started messing around with production, totally not claiming to be "a producer" - just phuckin around having some fun :)
