Just the other week we had no idea who DJ AA was, where he came from, or what kind of music he made. It wasn't until a late night listening session that we stumbled upon Bondax's post for his latest edit of their track "All Inside" with Alice Jemima's "No Diggity" cover. This discovery led to a mass listening to his entire repertoire. Needless to say we were instantly hooked on his sunny and positive vibes. His taste is impeccable and his edits are guaranteed to put a smile on your face. We asked AA to make an Exclusive Mix for Earmilk to share some of his favorite tracks as well as his latest edit of Ellie Goulding's "You, My Everything" with Aaliyah's classic "One in a Million".

Surprising us with all the songs we didn't know we wanted to hear, DJ AA, a Middle East-based Music Consultant and DJ, toys with interesting samples, pairings and remixes, seamlessly blending the likes of Bondax, Alunageorge, Ben Pearce, RAC, AAliyah, Maverick Sabre, Ellie Goulding and Daft Punk (just to name a few). We'd be surprised if this mix doesn't have at least one of your favorites on it. The best part of the mix is without a doubt the beautiful reality check that comes about 11 minutes in, as AA incorporates "The Final Speech by Thomas Jack ft. Adrian Symes," reminding us that we are all part of this club called humanity and that it means something deeply important. DJ AA brings us the opportunity to dance, chill and feel soulful as we picture ourselves in some tropical paradise, sand between our toes, a slight breeze against our skin, ocean in sight - it's enormity prompting us to do whatever our desires and the moment call for. We're gonna be honest here - we couldn't be happier that he made this Earmilk Exclusive and special Aaliyah x Ellie Goulding edit for us and we have a feeling you might feel the same way.

Mystery surrounds the identity of production combo Claptone. Perhaps it doesn't matter... 
Their first EP "She Loves You" was a mix of sharply floor focused tech-house, deep house and disco blends. Currently No. 4 in the German Club Charts and liked by key-players such as Tensnake, Julio Bashmore, Eats Everything, A-Trak, Matthew Dear and Tim Sweeney - we had to make a quick follow-up.

For Steyoyoke’s latest podcast installment rising producer Sasch brings us deep and sultry summer grooves. Known for deep, densely layered sounds, he also showcases his influences from the 80’s electro-pop and 90’s dance music of his youth in Moscow. We are pleased to present Sasch, a midsummer night’s beats. 

He begins weaving his tale with a sharp transition from Grovesnor’s vocals to the dark, sexy, brooding sounds of “Die Suche” as we head to the party. A hot summer night, driving fast down the road, headlights breaking at the bends. Slinky, dark, techy beats. Then the party begins. 

Sasch deftly brings us to a night that is pulsing and body’s moving with “Nobody Else”. Sasch continues his tale delivering true beat love. To talk about Rayko is to talk about one of the most active and prominents producers, with almost an every day original or edit drop for the joy of his legions of fans in soundcloud, where he has reached the status of Disco guru. The vast array of his music knowledge and taste it's jaw-breaking, and his determination to revitalise some of the all time greatest oldies and lost gems is what makes him a reference point in the overcrowded world of producers and Djs.  

In his exclusive Mix for Clubbing Shanghai, Rayko has gone for a selection of summerish modern disco vibes to remind us all that summer and disco, are a way of understanding life.

This month marks the passing of the lauded rapper Notorious B.I.G. and to honor his legacy, New York resident DJ Finesse debuted a special tribute during DJ Premier's Sirius/XM show "Live From Headqcourterz" on March 8.

The mix showcases Biggie's a capellas paired with Premier-produced beats. While the original tribute was shorter for air-time, Finesse extends the tribute for hip-hop fans here with a special intro by Premier himself.

DJ Premier's "Live From Headqcourterz" airs every Friday night from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m. on Sirius/XM Channel 44, Hip Hop Nation. DJ Finesse is a regular guest on the show, filling in for Premier as an on-air mixer.

This is the final instalment of the decade mixes. But this time it's a little bit different.

This is the decade that turned us into what we are now. This mix is effectively our condensed dance music bible (believe it or not, there are lots of tunes we couldn't fit in). The mix is done in the same style in which we remember our clubbing experiences. Most notably, The Bang Gang parties every Friday night in Sydney. Those guys were a HUGE part of why we became DJ's in the first place. This mix will, for better or worse, dig up a few dance-floor 'moments' for anyone who took part in the madness. 

So many of these songs are classics to us, and probably are to many others too. It's hard to hear these songs without cracking a smile and remembering a great time of irresponsibility. 

You won't find too many mixtapes in this style anymore. And certainly not from us. But we had to show what this decade was all about to us, and how it brought us to what we do today.  

We're dedicating this mix to our belated friend and mentor, Ajax. He's had more influence on this final chapter than anyone will ever know.

Thanks to everyone who got behind these mixes. It's been a long ride.
