i usually sit on every song i make for months on end worrying about how i am going to release it and if people will like it/care etc etc.  This doubt and frustration has permeated into the writing process which has resulted in me writing stuff "because i want that big reaction", which often doesn't always feel authentic, or, even if it does, and i'm not able to manifest anything , i feel a lot negativity towards my self and my music.  i think a lot of people struggle w/ this.

To get out of that phase, some friends and i started a weekly project where we each have only a single hour to make something with a criteria//ruleset that limits or focuses our approach.  This is a song I wrote this week in my single hour and its very simple, but i liked the result so much I decided to flesh it out a bit more w/ another 30-40 minutes of fine tuning.  The name comes from this process which i think can remove the burden i've placed on myself and heal the relationship i have with my work.
