This journey of discovery is a lifelong one, and we have been blessed lately at the DTW headquarters, to be receiving a good flow of beautiful music from talented cats all over the world.
From Cali, to London, to Paris, we’ve got the corners covered. Our featured artists span a variety of genres, representing that essential diversity at Darker Than Wax. While standard formulas are important for an artist’s identity – these guys prove that the only constant is change, and unearthing fresh, new sounds while on the experimental journey.

The set of exclusive artworks will showcase a specific set of palette, reflecting shapes, moods and atmospheres – perfectly complimenting the music in each feature.
Our recent grassroots signing of FZPZ is shaking things up – for our latest Spotlight series, the prodigal producer provides the freshest cuts of boom bap, sensual soul, and otherworldly synths that come together perfectly in one poignant package. Having released previously on TeamSupreme, Phyla & SVNSET WΛVES, this classically-trained artist is truly one of the freshest souls to have emerged out of the island.
While the lucid arrangements of elements on “Obey” and “Guava” are obvious pleasers, “The Peruvian” is a cult classic – of intense emotions entwined in texture, and harmonic depth.
This flicker of hope is looking to trail blaze Singapura’s promising future of upcoming producers – keep an eye out for more to come.

We first released Lafa's 'Make It Up' as part of our free download series a couple of years ago and new we had to hit him up when putting together this compilation. His track 'Good Intentions' keeps you on your toes, switching up 4 or 5 times and keeping things very interesting.
