Liminal : En anglais moderne, “liminal” désigne quelque chose de transitoire, entre deux états, un espace ou un moment qui n’est ni ici ni là-bas, souvent mystérieux ou suspendu. Comme  l’aube, le moment juste avant de s’endormir… c’est un état entre deux mondes.

Radio : Fait référence aux ondes, signaux FM, transmission, au côté rétro et connecté à distance. Ça évoque aussi l’idée de messages invisibles, de fréquences qu’on capte ou qu’on cherche à capter.

Donc les deux ensemble,
Ça donne l’idée d’une fréquence ou d’un signal qui traverse un moment suspendu : un instant de nostalgie et d’espoir, quelque chose de fragile et mystérieux qu’on capte à peine mais qui existe, comme un message perdu dans l’espace ou dans le temps.

C’est une ambiance sonore qui se trouve entre passé et futur, entre réel et rêve, portée par les vibrations radio.

Swimming Tv - Spring

In this track, I decided to take on recording most of the sounds live and wanted to incorporate a more living feel to it. This is a completely new style for me so I thought it turned out pretty nice! This song benefited from how vast our music can get when we get sidetracked.
