The MULTI CULTI adventure begins with a bold debut 12" from DREEMS, three dubbed-out visions from the depths of Australia's vibe country, featuring a collaboration with mystery mate JAGMA.. In the Desert serves as an excellent introduction to the label's ethos, chakra-picking musical fruit from around the world, sharing only the top 0.01% of all vibes travelled. 

In advance of a full length LP release, these tracks are DJ-friendly, though the exotic vocal samples and timeless Afro-Tribal-World-Rave sounds aren't meant for killing dance floors, but breathing new life into them. 'We Shall Be Found' trots out of the gates with I-rey enthusiasm, a gospel Rasta refrain soaring atop rolling synths and funky 808 rhythms. 'In the Desert' is a sun-drenched epic that evidently drew inspiration from five full trips to Burning Man, the sonic proof of beautiful sun-dances, trained to a timeless walk-about groove. Finally, 'With Shackles On' is a blissfully lucid chain-gang journey to the shimmering edges of your consciousness.

Dust off your psychic bongo, re-hang that dream catcher, light up your essential oil burners, set your alarm clock to snooze, put on your headphones and re-tune your consciousness to a bright and beautiful whole.

Remember the feeling as a kid when you were on a trip to the sea, got thrown into the water by your father and that short moment when time slows down? Thats what @Swimming-Tv sounds like. The young Dortmund, Germany based producer didn't really start young and isn't trained in music at all besides some self-teaching on drums and guitar, but as soon as he discovered what you can do with some synths,a computer and some tapes he just sat there all night and absorbed all the knowledge he could get. Inspired by Abstract beat music, Ambient and african or asian tribal music, the result sounds like when you're floating on the water if you can't even swim.

About
Swimming TV lands at Cosmonostro HQ with six tracks of pure lysergic bliss, perfect for those long hazy summer days in the park. The ‘Time Freeze’ EP lives up to its name, slowing down the chaos of modern existence to a grinding halt, and transporting us to a tranquil plane of psychedelic sounds, where the demands of the ever-rotating clock hands become a distant memory.
We open with the trickling lo-fi vibra-loops of ‘Blue Sky’ before moving into the EPs title track, a reflective and ever-morphing lesson in meditative beat-sculpting. ‘Gold’ keeps the kaleidoscopic vibes flowing, with shimmering reverb-soaked textures that bring to mind the sonic palettes of Teebs or Shigeto from across the Atlantic. ‘I’m Stuck Forever’ brings the energy levels up a touch, with swelling low-end and driving, scattered percussion, before ‘Fun In The Sun’ lays us back down gently on a wave of sidechained static and cosmic arps. Also included on the EP is bonus track ‘Vaporclouds’, another slice of meditative dopeness from the Dortmund wunderkind, where layers of organic percussion are gradually built up over soft arpeggiated pads, rising to a stunning crescendo of chords before drifting away like a solitary passing cloud.

Mindfulness is derived from Buddhist art as an act of meditation and accepting others, and has gained worldwide popularity as a distinctive method to handle emotions. A Sol Mechanic has the slow, nuanced beats that parallel Handbook’s tracks, while Handbook’s unpredictably swift beats pulse in unison to A Sol Mechanic’s nostalgic flow. This EP will bring variety and a tranquil sound to its audience in a sensational, attentive way.

A Sol Mechanic’s contributions in this EP, named “All Along” and “Elevate”, alongside Handbook’s releases, “Goldmines” and “Only just Met”, are proud - they truly allow the emotions to flow within the balance of pitch and rhythm. Enraptured, dreamy and enchanted, mixed with a sorrowful grieving, this is an EP for the listeners to relate to within their own practice of mindfulness.

Italdred’s elemental artists work to bring you musical loops, while remaining loyal to its sound played, with a wide variety of timbres and dynamics. The latter may still be an element of linear ordering within synth, looping and guitar that leave your mind high.

A Sol Mechanic - "The first time I heard Handbook and his original style I knew there was potential for a major collab between us. Being a big fan of his work and having crossed paths with him through various collectives, it seemed inevitable that we'd link up to create a collection we truly believe in. When Rob proposed a collaboration EP to be released on Italdred with Handbook himself, I jumped at the opportunity and am very grateful for doing so. "Mindfulness" explores our deep understanding of each other's creative inspiration and how we can create a profound landscape through collaborative thought."

Handbook - "A Sol Mechanic had been on my radar for some time and over the years I began hearing a lot about his development as a producer. I tuned into his music earlier this year and was blown away. Rob, at Italdred, reached out to me asking if I wanted to work on a split EP with ASM and I didn’t need to think too hard about it.

Alongside ASM, I wanted to create something powerful, but relaxing. Something that would leave an impact but wasn’t a chore to listen to. Something with an obvious feeling, but left the listener wanting to listen again and pick up on some of the more subtle aspects of the tracks. Something that left the listener respecting the craft of what was playing and enjoying what was going on. I feel that Mindfulness encapsulates that."
