The 5 track collection embodies obscure, apprehensive aspects of the Austrian producer’s mind, allowing the listener to follow on a hedonistic journey through the infinite darkness and voyage into the abyss. ‘1 3 1 3’ takes on influences of Hip-Hop & Future Bass, but never quite settles on any particular sub-genre within electronic music. Previously one half of Footprintz, Clarian has released on on Visionquest, Turbo, Life and Death and Culprit as a solo artist, not to mention his acclaimed collaborations with Guy Gerber and Seth Troxler.

Combining the warm hum and factory grit of analog machinery, sequencers, and haunted strings, his tracks transport the listener into alternate states of mind. Laced in homemade beats and toxic hooks, Clarian is on the fringe between experimental house and pseudo pop, re-imagining tones into an addictive cocktail with his signature dance floor poetry.

Today we premiere Clarian's latest offering on Anjunadeep entitled ‘Kill For Love.’ The track kicks off the three-track EP with tantalising keys and mournful vocals, wrapped around a surging acid bassline.

The DIRTYBIRD crew havent even had time to take their counsellor uniforms to the dry cleaners post-Campout, but already theyre dishing out more bulletproof slabs of future-flexed acid house.

Will Clarke mans the controls: Making his Dirtybird debut in January with "Badness" on DIRTYBIRD 10, follwing up with "The Boogie Woogie" EP and lazer-snapping "808Frenzy" on "DIRTYBIRD BBQ - Grill$ons Revenge" collection, the bristly Bristol-based spandex enthusiast has enjoyed a beautiful summer with releases on Defected, Emerald City and Turbo and unforgettable shows across the US, Australia and Europe.

Returning to the label with the bulbous two-track EP "Turn It Up," Clarke does just that: Writhing in carnal groove simplicity, he taps into the roots of timeless, low-down, butt-wriggling house music with three obscene examples of strong-armed tech funk. "Can You Funk" punches with Breach-level hookiness, and Turn It Up does the loopy-loop with Dirtybirds trademark vocal trippiness. 

Keep it turned: Will Clarke has been one of 2015s most exciting and authentic house music success stories. We can thank DIRTYBIRD for that. Stay tuned for more very soon...

Selling out shows from LA to London, Daniel Goldstein aka Lane 8 marked himself out as one of electronic music’s rising stars in 2015 with the release of his acclaimed debut album ‘Rise’ on Anjunadeep. Casting new light on the songs and musicality at its heart, ‘Rise (Live & In Session)’ collates live and session recordings of five tracks from the album, recorded with collaborators Solomon Grey and Lulu James and featuring live keys and arrangement from Daniel himself.

Album opener ‘Loving You’ appears as an ‘In Session’ performance with original vocalist and Jon Hopkins collaborator Lulu James.

Long-time collaborators Solomon Grey return on of ‘Diamonds’ and ‘Hot As You Want’, taken from the popular ‘In Session’ videos debuted last year, originally premiered by Fact Magazine.

Closing the EP is a recorded live rendition of ‘Hot As You Want’ and a Solomon Grey-sung live cover of ‘Loving You’, both taken from an intimate Lane 8 live show at Peckham Liberal Club in London.
