Ella Ray is a Pop/ Soul artists based in Bristol (UK). Integrating a vast array of both authentically soulful melodies influenced by the likes of Etta James, and the fusion of electronic pop derived from artists such as Jess Glynne and Ella Henderson. 

Her musical inspiration is fused by her desire to connect with an audience on an emotional level, through a musical expression of relatable experiences. This can be heard in her latest release ‘Take It From Me’. 

Originally from the small town of Amersham in Buckinghamshire, Ella developed as a vocalist in an environment deprived of musical activity. From this she developed a natural innocence upon which her vocal style flourished. 

After impressing from a very young age, Ella soon began to attract attention local and surrounding areas, which resulted in heavy press coverage after her captivating performance at the prestigious Crown Plaza Hotel, Marlow.

After several years of extensive gigging and vocal development, Ella made her move to Bristol to further her musical career. It was here that she met commercial songwriter Danny McMahon (Taylor Swift, The Wanted). Over the next few months the newly formed songwriting team developed a working mentality that allowed Ella to achieve her full potential.
