Stranger to ourselves than to anybody else.

Russell Swallow is one of those lucky pre-Brexit kids who spent two years living between London and Berlin. His sound is a refreshing synthesis of the classic British singer-songwriter tradition blended with ambient Berlin soundscapes. He uses confessional lyrics and allegorical storytelling to create songs that range from hushed, prayer-like confessionals to soaring, indie epics. 
 
Swallow established himself as a solo artist after moving to Berlin in 2016 and has since toured extensively throughout Europe, playing over 300 shows in seven countries, with festivals in London, Germany, Switzerland and France. He has been support for the likes of Kimberly Anne, Leddra Chapman and Kal Lavelle and performed at venues such as Kantine am Berghain (Berlin), Green Note & Union Chapel (London).
 
Inspired by the likes of Bon Iver, Jeff Buckley, and Jon Martyn, Swallow taught himself to write songs by blending his passion for poetry and short stories with his newfound love of indie-driven sounds, whilst growing up in Suffolk.
 
Remixes from latest EP Body Like Braille are released this Summer, with new self produced music coming later this year. The record captures Swallow’s haunting vocals, shimmering electric guitar and lush electronics.

Fiona Howe is a singer-songwriter, musician and composer based in London.   She also produces feature films.

Classically trained, with a degree in literature, Fiona inherited her gift for improvisation and a taste for blue notes from her jazz pianist grandmother.

Her début album Mermaid’s Work was released in January 2016. Eight songs explore the connection between the female psyche and the sea, a kaleidoscope of emotional colours shifting and moving with the ebb and flow of the tide, creating an intimate, mysterious sound, a vocal that steals into the ear and seduces the listener with its story. The lyrics deal with desire and desolation, defiance and abandonment, inspiration and healing. The songs are scored sparingly, with violin and cello underpinning and interweaving the vocal and piano lines and occasional colour from flute and harp, but they are also accessible and melodic.

Fiona has produced a trilogy of award-nominated feature films for which she has also composed and performed the soundtrack music:  Desire (Nominated Best UK Feature, Raindance Film Festival),  Delight (Nominated Best Feature, Moscow International Film Festival) and most recently a full orchestral/choral score for Delirium which premièred in the Official Selection of Moscow Film Festival in 2017.  The soundtrack recently won a special mention by the online 2017 Reel Music Awards, where it was nominated in the category Best Original Score for a Drama Feature:  ‘…full of beautifully-rendered choral pieces… a wonderfully intimate and emotionally powerful score.’

Dutch-English singer and songwriter Gitta de Ridder draws the listener into a world full of atmosphere and feeling. Feelings of joy, sadness and wonder. Stories, thoughts, dreams, hopes, and all that lies between wrapped up in a blanket of indie folk acoustic guitar sounds and beautiful melodies.
She grew up in The Netherlands leaving the family home to go study music at age 18. A journey that took her from the Netherlands to Germany, to Italy, Greece, Ireland and the UK, settling in London in 2008 where she has lived ever since. Her first single 'Mr Yesterday' released in September 2014 gathered attention from BBC introducing, Amazing Radio and several Dutch Radio stations and with her self-produced debut EP 'Come Find Me' released in January 2015 and received with shining reviews she is starting to be a name to remember.
