@librarianmusic - Andrea Graham, better known by her stage name The Librarian, is a celebrated Canadian DJ, producer, and curator. She is the co-founder and music director of Bass Coast Music Festival – known internationally for its innovative music programming and installation art – and is widely considered one of bass music's leading creative minds and tastemakers. Equally an artist and entrepreneur, Andrea’s reputation as an inclusive community-builder in the electronic world has brought her a legion of fans and industry followers across the globe.

@vibesquad OG Bass music legend VibeSquaD is celebrating 15 years of releases and shows. This year VibeSquaD contributed a new single to MUISIQUE V.1 compilation curated by Clozee for her label Odyzey Music. VibeSquaD is the work of Aaron Holstein who turned 50 this year. His newest project is called Backpact, a plush analog lo-fi blunted sunset cruise through your afterthoughts.

Specializing in broken beats with a strong UK influence, Neumonic has made a mark on the Bay Area bass scene producing and DJing Drum & Bass, Deep Dub, and UKG/Breakbeat.  He has been called up for massive shows to support acts like Pendulum, Rudimental, Hamdi and many more in San Francisco. With releases on The Widdler's label Widdfam and Justin Jay's label Fantastic Voyage, Neumonic has been making waves with his productions along with his DJ sets all over California.  His musical influences are endless and we've seen Neumonic spin just about anything into his sets, playing the crowd perfectly and pushing new genres and styles to spice things up.  We are excited for what's next with Neumonic!

Detroit is a beautiful and menacing place at the same time. I call it home now, and I love every minute of it. Mostly. The past winter was tough on my soul, but the city had nothing to do with that, it just provided a particularly frigid setting and vibe to my mood. Undaunted, last years diversion to Drum and Bass for a dear friends birthday, combined with it being over 20 years since Mike left us, had me revisting a dear and familiar audio landscape, with a fresh ear and a new perspective. The eclipse provided the perfect catalyst for me to flex some creativity on my first Drum and Bass mix in over a decade. 

I want my music to sound like a pack of healthy dobermans staring you down, in that moment before they tear you to shreds, or run in for all the pets. I'm cute but I have teeth too; respect me.

A man who finds himself often working between the peripheries of a host of different sounds, Hypho’s experimentalism is a unique mash-up that has developed through years of living in the musical hotspot that is Manchester. Taking inspiration from seminal figures such as Loefah and Burial, his leftfield creations fuse elements of breaks, techno, garage and dubstep to form bass-heavy tracks that have featured on labels such as Swamp81, Encrypted Audio and Infernal Sounds.

His shadowy, ominous low-end frequencies are balanced by perfectly executed sound design, bringing a musical depth that runs through all his productions. His work has seen him collaborate with figures such as Biome, Sumgii and Opus, while the likes of T-man, Logan and Rakjay have touched mic on his intricate compositions.

One to watch for 2021! UKF
