Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore I, the Incomplete/Flawed Pacifist ending, details an ending in which everyone (except for Asgore) was spared and befriended. Toriel has taken her ex-husband's place, ruling the Underground with both strictness and kindness. Humans are to be treated not as enemies, but as friends.

Flowey takes the role of Toriel. After being spared by Frisk, he's been doing a lot of soul searching (no pun intended). He's hidden away in the Ruins, which is now overgrown with vegetation and fear. He might be turning over a new leaf (again, no pun intended), but it's hard to let go of the fearsome persona he has worked so hard to build. Could he ever truly qualify as a "caretaker?"

2 years ago today, "Afraid and Confused" was released here on the Quicksilver page. It was Toadie's entry into a Mother's Day contest I was holding at the time, where musicians and artists could enter content related to the Toriel replacements of any of my AUs lying around. Through the on-a-whim choice of Aftergore I, on the basis of it having Flowey in the Toriel role, the public was officially introduced to Aftergore for the very first time. Then a few more tracks came out. Then a few more. While it was fun to indulge in the concept, I never thought I'd go all that deep into it at the time. I figured that because of how vast it is, it would be too confusing and turn a lot of potential fans away. I also knew that it would be so intricate that no one would want to sink their time into helping me make the whole thing. The server was set up to provide people with more information, but I never expected it to exceed, like, 50 people max. Fast forward two years and 200+ tracks, and it is now my most popular project, bar none. I've got a great team behind me, a server full of fans, and above all the incredible talent of Toadie. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I don't know where I'd be without them. I know this project would never have taken off, and I might have even faded away from the community by now were it not for their ceaseless support. Thank you for everything Toadie. You keep this wonderful dream going. Here's to...however much time it takes for us to finish this darn thing. Love ya buddy. And of course, thank you to every fan of the project. I'm so glad this niche little idea has attracted so many fans. Onwards and upwards!

Yoooooo I get to ramble again for like 30 minutes! Honestly I'm in complete shock at how much progress we've already made on the AU. And the amount grows pretty much every day (obviously, daily uploads can't exactly sustain themselves can they). I'm proud of Slick, and honestly I might as well say I'm proud of myself 'cause holy fuck need I mention again how many tracks are on the account as a whole??? I'm also very proud of everyone else who's contributed, be it music, art, whatever else, everyone's done such a wonderful job!

The Uwa!! replacements serve two functions, being used for both the SAVE menu and options screen. This song would, in a theoretical "in-game" scenario, play between 6PM and 12AM during neutral routes. During a pacifist route, once you've reached the first save point in Leafpile, this song will play regardless of time. (Should be mentioned I misplanned the placement of this song in the OST but I don't want to renumber everything so this will simply have to exist as is. It's close enough, anyhow.)
If a single monster is harmed, it starts being time-based again rather than progress-based.
