A new format for these nouveau-fairytales, which teach us to stop looking out for material possessions, but rather, look deep within our souls to find the meaning of beauty. Beauty that we fail to see amid the turbulent storm, which passes eventually, giving way to rain, that possess the power to blossom the most beautiful gifts, without which our song remains incomplete.

Swarathma - Rishton ka Raasta

The Anirudh Varma Collective is a collaborative project, bringing artists and musicians of diverse musical and cultural backgrounds together to form a unique musical identity. The idea behind this venture is to showcase Anirudh’s identity as a composer, producer and music director, incorporating the energy and perspectives of the musicians who are being featured on his compositions and repertoire. 

 This particular project is a contemporary representation of Hindustani Classical Music, for both the musician and audience community. This album aims to portray and represent Hindustani Classical Music using Western Classical Music sensibilities as well as a whole host of other influences brought to the forefront by collaborators. Contributors to the album include veterans, such as Pt. Sarathi Chatterjee, Ehsaan Ali, Pavithra Chari and Ritesh Prasanna to name a few, as well as a talented array of younger artists. 

The album is an incredible blend of over fifty musicians from the contemporary Indian music industry, coming from diverse musical backgrounds, and bringing in their own colour and identity on this album. The project involves a myriad set of gifted artists, designers and filmmakers who are part of the production and creative team. 

 The Anirudh Varma Collective is an attempt to showcase the eclectic hues and innumerable facets of the contemporary Indian Art Scenario.
