Raquitismo EP is the second reference in 12" and tenth of the label signed by the Vallisolean artist Alf.

"The theme of this EP revolves around the hyperactivity to which both the capitalist system and ourselves require us to live, thinking that this ultra productivity will make us feel happy and fulfilled at some point, how we isolate ourselves in our small strengths and see foreigners as viruses to be eliminated or expelled. "

The 5 original tracks of this EP have been designed with few tracks but consciously processed to create a forceful atmosphere ready for the dancefloor.

The technical part of this work is once again the work of Dan Böhler, who has mixed and mastered this album and has also given us a remix "house brand" to the title track of the EP. The visual work is in charge of Marcos Abella.

01. Alf - Buenas Intenciones

From the vaults of Void+1 Laboratories emerges the final artifact of the label's "Year-2" cycle: "Reinstate", a dystopian offering by Znzl, where every element feels stripped to its core and charged with creative potency that resonates like an incantation across the bottomless digital abyss.
While the EP title might have been coincidental (spoiler alert: there’s no such thing), it serves as an uncanny retrocausality, foreshadowing the ethos of the label's sound for 2025.
"Orbital Downpour" is a relentless peak-time track with an "evil grin", immediately contrasted (or expanded upon depending on your interpretation) by "Hush", a twisted, machine-funk-infused techno tune that feels like an overly talkative robot is being silenced by its own compulsions while "Rescaler" holds a masterclass in bridging the past and future, with an impeccable nod to mid-2000s minimal. The EP concludes with "Other Sights", a triumphant freeflow across the digital abyss.
"Reinstate" isn’t just the conclusion of Void+1’s "Year-2"; it’s the beginning of a new era.

This album represents a significant evolution in the musical journey of Nick Viola, transitioning from the powernoise and heavy industrial sounds of his previous project, Fractured Transmission, into a techno-framed landscape.
